Does anyone know how to make a DVA Infinity that is actually a x2 shot instead of a x1? Every time I have tried to make one it always shows up as a 1 projectile per shot Infinity instead of a double shot. xbox 360.
Infinity has its own special Dva accessory that gives it a chance to fire twice rapidly, like Zer0’s Two-Fang skill.
The DVA accesory on the Infinity only gives it a 25% chance to fire twice.

So, I seem to have the same problem as many others, the actual app won’t load. It reports a problem and closes itself.
I’ve extracted fully to a new folder, to the desktop, installed .net4, repaired .net4, made sure I have the latest version of the game, restarted the computer after every change, tried legacy compatibilties, opening the file as an admin, disabling Windows firewall, setting up permissions in my AV software, turning AV software off etc. Essentially everything a non technical, but relatively savvy chap might do, but the editor just won’t load!
Any advice would be much appreciated!
What error or notification do you get when opening the editor
So when I download Gibbed, and try to open it, it says “Application not found” and my only option is to cancel. And when I show in folder, its logo is the same as itunes??????, this makes no sense and there is no way around it. Wondering if anyone has had this problem before, or what it means and how I could fix it????? And when I have Itunes installed and I open it, it opens Itunes, with no sign of the Gibbed editor.
Any help would be very much appreciated!
Try changing the icon if convenient and uninstall and reinstall iTunes and and on properties the file type if possible
I think overpower level is controllable on this editor. Some people care about if overpower is editable or not, but it is surely working. You just change weapon level 73~80.

Hey there. One quick question. I keep setting my level to 72 and then syncing my exp. but when i got to encrypt it in bruteforce, even after refreshing a couple times, its still lvl 61. Any tips?
It will say 61 but when you put the save back on your system & load the character, it will update to 72
I loaded it into the game. Still 61 and the new weapons i pasted the codes for in the backpack through Gibbed are ot appearing in my inventory
You are remembering to hit Save on Gibbed right? AND youre overwriting the right files when you do save correct?
make sure you are rehashing and resigning as well. From what I can tell the sync exp is 2xp below the actual 72 xp as well. i.e. editor says 9520931 when the correct xp for lvl 72 is 9520933.

How do you load a modded save onto an Xbox? I think it involves horizon in some way.
Yes, with a USB move the save game to USB then with a program such as modio or horizon to extract the file to the desktop. I would suggest horizon has it save the profile cache so you don’t have to move your profile all the time unlike modio.
Supposedly Borderlands 2 1.08 increased max eridium storage to 999 but when i try spawning in 999 i load up with 500. So is it a problem with Gibbed, or did Gearbox lie in their 1.08 patch notes? :/

GBX screwed up the patch for Eridium. It is still at 500. They removed that line from the update notes I believe.
aah I see I see. Thank you. Hate to bother you with this question cause I know you get it alot, but whens the new update for Gibbed coming out, and we will be able to mod OP level correct? I got my Psycho from 61 to 72 legit AND unlocked first 4 OP levels, and now Im stuck unlocking OP level 5. I dont feel like grinding my other 5 characters to 72 AND grinding the OPs its just getting frustrating getting killed by the Scorches over & over LoL. Thank you.
Why can’t I see the Florentine in a backpack, as well as create it through the save editor? As well as a <a href="“>Chain Lightning and Fire Storm as well as other items and weapons from Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep.
You probably have an old version of the editor. Grab R197 and you should be fine…
I will try to better explain the problem.
1) When I create a Florentine through the program when joining a game weapon disappears. Florentine that I bought for the crystals, the editor does not see.
2) When opening saves issued the same 2 errors associated with grenades
There were weapons in the backpack that failed to load. Do you want to remove them?
2.1) The program does not recognize the pomegranates, says “Unknown Item”

**WARNING** In case you dont know this dont EVER encrypt a file twice on Bruteforce it messes it up & even after you decrypt it Gibbed wont open it, just lost 4 characters :/ also when you go to load it on Borderlands, it will tell you its corrupted.
If you just Verify the PFD Then re do the process of Decrypting Modding Update PFD (No for pop up) and Encrypt all files it wont be corrupted anymore. I know because I also lost 7 characters
before i even start messing with this, i was wondering if anybody knows if v197 will work with the new upgrade pack? last time i used gibbed was like 3 weeks ago before any patches/updates/whatever. is v197 still current? i’ve seen people on se7ensins.com talking about a v210 that doesnt seem to be up for download yet
v210 isn’t out yet. Though it may be for the Borderlands 2 Save editor made by the modders of Se7en sins. If so don’t bother Gibbed is way better. 🙂
It will be public but can’t say yet just going through testing phase and yes the r197 is the latest and will work with 29 August patch ( UVHM pack 2)
Of course it still works, the only thing that you can no longer do is make (Overpowered) modded weapons. (You can still mod some type of weapons/items but it barley does anything)
Oh, I forgot to say. You can download v210 right now (In the SVN section) but you have to know how to work that.

i updated the gibbed editor and I go to my ps3, copy my save into a USB then decrypt it on bruteforce and it comes up with the error message “Failed to load save; invalid SH41 hash”

yes I did but it comes up with the error message… I also decrypted the PFD

That should work, are you copying the whole code, and when you pasted, did it pop up at the bottom of the backpack?

I changed a character from 50 to level to 72 after downloading the new DLC. But when I get the quest for Digistruct Peak it is only at level 50. Also, all enemies are level 50. I want to fight level 72 enemies so I can get overpower. What’s going on?

Did you accept the quest in UVHM or in TVHM? In TVHM everything scales max level 50…
You need to make sure you have completed the story in TVHM, and select UVHM from the main menu.

The editor already works on Xbox files. You just have to extract the SaveGame.sav file from your Xbox container file.

first time using this mod tool and i was just wondering if anyone has ever had their savegame wiped in a patch from just giving themselves more eridium and cash?
i was really annoyed with the amount of space i started with so i modded my save for more eridium so i could get all the backpack slots and a bit of spending money also (im new to bl2) but now im almost regretting it because a friend told me that when you use the editor your savegame gets wiped each patch
is this true?

Problem, With no end In site you see, everytime i extract the file from Horizon it’s say’s i have to use modio, So i download Modio, the program doesn’t like that much either because it said the same shit. “error cannot load save please extract from Modio or higher.” I Can’t use your program if the program it’s self is refusing to work.
What is the name of the file you are extracting? It has to be the SaveGame.sav file which is extracted from the Xbox container file.

I cant add skill points to my psycho. havnet tried any other classes yet
You have never been able to add Skill Points. You have to go to the Raw tab and edit the values in SkillData.
Set your level to a lower level. Leave the xp alone. When you log in you auto level to the correct level based on the xp and get skill points to spend. I do it all the time. The lower you set the level the more SPs you get. Just may sure you don’t sync the xp to the new level when you lower it.
If you ever want to get rid of the extra points just respec, don’t assign the points and save exit. When you come back you will have only the correct amount of points for the level.

According to your error, it’s saying that your file is being accessed by something else currently. Are you trying to edit your save while you have it open in BL2?

Are you creating them from scratch? If so, then they may be getting created incorrectly so the game see’s them as modded and deletes them. Try pasting in some of the codes from here: http://imgur.com/a/xEK2X

When trying to level my weapons to op 8 I mistakenly hit sync and leveled them all to 72. Rather than change them all one at a time I raised my character to 80 and synced again. This leveled them all but now I get the nag when launching about needing additional content that’s not accessible. How do I fix this?
That is probably your experience on your character, if you are the highest level but with a full experience bar then it’ll say you need DLC even if you have them all.

Change your XP to 9520931 and hit Sync. Your level should change to 72 again. However, the editor isn’t correct on the amount of XP at 72. If you are on Xbox/PS3 change it up to 9520933 or PC change it to 9520932 but DON’T sync it.

There are no BL2 codes for those. You have to enter their Type and Balance in the ItemData section in the RAW tab.

I’m having problems with modding the backpack size, I get the whole fill Eridium, change Blackmarket, and then re-buy aspect, which works just fine. However it never sticks for me, as in it always resets back to the max unmodded size.
I’ve even tried using the python method, and that just stops the save from working completely.
There has been a sanity check on the Bank and Backpack for a long time now. It will always revert to normal values upon load.

Hey, just downloaded horizon last night. Been trying to download gibbed save editor… Had to download a .net framework 4 or something, then winzip. but when i click on the gibbed save app in the winzip file to open it (icon of jack), it says something like ” error: gibbed save editor has a problem, sorry for the inconvenience.” horizon was a piece of cake, but i cant get gibbed. anyone know whats going on or how to fix this issue so i can download it and use it with horizon? appreciate it.
also… on the mediafire is where i tried downloading it first and it suggested the winzip to be able to download gibbed. now when i try to download gibbed, the winzip pops up, says buy now or try evaluation version. i click evaluation version and the folder with the gibbed save editor files pop up. i click the application one which is the largest and thats when i get that error cant open has to close message ^
Are you trying to run it while it’s still in the zip file? You need to extract everything from the zip file to a location on your computer and run it from there. If WinZip is giving you a hard time, I would suggest using WinRAR.
just uninstalled winzip and download winwar. will try it. let u know
ya i went into winwar, dragged the file into a new folder. then right clicked and hit extract here. it made the application with jack on it, in the folder. i tried to open it and it said the same thing. even put it on my desktop n same thing.

Yeah. Just extract the contents and then you can drag the numbered saves into Horizon and just paste in your profile ID.
ok. i did the xtraction into a new folder, it had all the classes. once i open up one of the class folders like maya, it had to files. save and save003. when i clicked open it said i needed something to open it with, which is strange because i have the winwar
The SaveGame is just the character save file and you can open that up in Gibbed and edit it if you wish. The SaveXXXX.sav is already in an Xbox container file and can be directly dragged into Horizon and resigned.
got it… i just took my save file from my desktop n put it in a file, then drug urs in to overwrite it.
one last thing, leave the character level at 72? or put it to 80 for OP8?

Like I said though, you can just drag in one of the SaveXXXX.sav’s and replace the Profile ID with yours. Then Save, Rehash and Resign and copy to your flash drive.
