This editor is no longer being updated and does not support newer Borderlands patches. It is highly recommended that you use WillowTree# instead.
Newer build of my Borderlands save editor, fixes the problem with editing Roland (Soldier) saves, as well as several other minor changes and fixes.

just FYI: the magazine “gd_weap_patrol_smg.mag.mag5” works with all the guns i have tested(rocketlaunchers, shotguns, revolvers).
I added it to Scribs’ Anaconda SolidSnake916, and now it holds 24 shots in the mag 😀

It essentially enpties the clip on any gun in a few seconds while zoomed – max of 100 bullets. You only have to hold zoom and press fire once and watch your entire clip empty. Works on all guns.

In theory it’s a sub machine gun, but it also has a burst count of 10000%, which means that the entire clip empties in about a tenth of a second.
Alternatively, it could take the masher accessory, which drops the damage down, but makes it dump over 1000 projectiles per trigger squeeze.
Or it can do hellfire.
Does anyone have the name of the part that makes “holy crap it shoots rockets”?

If you use gd_weap_shared_materialparts.Material.chameleon it has a slightly slower rate (but still enough to empty the clip) but acts as scatter shot with reduced accuracy and higher dmg so you can wipe out swathes.
I really suggest we get a little more organized area to discuss and make these guns with screenshots of them and share them, seriously. Or get them .upk files uncompressed lol. Than weapon modding from scratch to whatever anyone wants will be more reality.

Here’s a patch to expand functionality just a little bit, and some other small nazi semantics I haven’t manually removed from the patch yet, such as the IDEs reordering of the .designer.cs…
Adds an ‘Unknown’ tab, with a PropertyGrid view of the Player, exposing the unknown components.

JESUS, this thing is insane. It just shits bullets. I made my own version, changing it to a Hyperion to get the accuracy bonus.

I also added hellfire bullets, the Tediore Protector body which regens ammo, and an invader sight, which lets me loose all 79 shots in one burst.
gd_weap_repeater_pistol.Body.body3_Tediore_Protector, Does +18m ammo regen I think. Works wonders when added to my existing +18 ammo regen class mod.

I messed around with shield parts and I came across a purple 1932 shield charge capacity with a 182 recharge rate. Probably the best shield combo. Left and Right sides DO affect the stats.
Also, all qualities can go to 5. 5 means the weapon grade will be in the mid 30’s – high 40’s level requirement ranges. Maximizes damage possibilities. However, handing them out will probably mean a majority can’t use them.

Anyone have the dissection of a Jakobs Skullmasher yet? So far I’ve only found one reference to it in the game files and the one I’ve created has the proper red text and title but the damage isn’t reduced and it does not fire 6 shots at once. I figure there is some gd_weap_sniper_rifle.Barrel that isn’t listed that needs to be used, like gd_weap_rocket_launcher.Barrel.barrel1_helix is not listed in the game files at all, which is the mod that makes a rocket launcher shoot 3 rockets in a helix, or possibly an accessory that isn’t listed.
so changing the left and right side numbers at the end of the string modify the stats? 1-4?
also is there anyway to edit our chars while ingame, at the first main menu not loaded into a save? saves me from experimenting edit then load game, quit and repeat
The UDK was released recently… the first thing that needs to be done is to get ucc batchexport commandlet functionality enabled, then remove the “say ” prefix on console commands…
Editing the executable to disable .u file hash verification (one specific 0x74 jz rel8 to 0xEB jmp rel8), and replacing “say ” with 4 spaces in Engine.u is the temporary solution I’m using…
Then, I guess, you need someone more familiar with the unreal engine than me to start toying around…
Also, if/once UCC functionality is restored, there’s a commandlet for exporting/building .upk (content packages) files, too.

I noticed that revision 11 is supposed to bring PS3 and 360 support. Once the program understands the save format between the three versions would it be possible for it to export them to the different platforms?
E.G. I have a PS3 save I’d like to use on the PC, but the PC version of Borderlands considers the save file corrupt. That a surmountable problem or something exceedingly complex?
Can you upload a just-created PS3 save Brick?
It might merely be an issue of reversing byte order, or using 64-bits in some places.
