Has anybody made a list of diff parts and what they do? I have started one but I don’t want to post it if anybody else has it already. Maybe we can start a rolling list that anybody can contribute to?
This sg editor does not allow you to increase your level limit beyond 50 unfortunately, does anyone know of one that aren’t as restricted that allow you to increase your level beyond 50?
Increasing your level beyond 50 causes strange glitches. After level 100 the car’s guns refuse to fire, saying “out of ammo” or something like that. Occassionally you are unable to open boxes and change maps. When you hit the Use key you get the message “FULL”. The only advantage is you have a ridiculous amount of health points the higher you make the level.
And Insane Melee Damage, and basically it’s like god mode.
We can only hope their upcoming DLC will allow for an increased level cap, as it would make the most sense.
the ‘Double Stomper’ eridian doesn’t work at all
You mean the one on the Borderlands Weapon site? Yeah, tried it too. Uses the same config as regular eridian cannon so don’t know what the uploader was doing.
There’s a launcher up call the XX Twisted Stomper. It is godly. Killed the final boss in one shot π

It only creates legit weapons so they cannot have the same amount of damage as others created the hard way
I recently modded a level 29 soldier. The problem is that modding caused me to loss all of my elemental artifacts. Now I’m searching all over the internet to find the artifact skill entries for Roland with absolutely no success. WTF? can i get some help?

Elemental artifacts are useless… I hardly used the turret for anything other than health\ammo recovery. It barely did any real damage.

I went all-out and created these monstrosities from Semtex’s template, Carnage overload:

The sniper rifle and revolver dont shoot rockets, the same for any other gun smg, shotgun, repeater etc… Also the reload rate is normal so Dove barrel isnt needed.
Just tested these in multiplayer. The rocket launcher fires rockets that goes through and kills multiple enemies π

Well just plug the Carnage barrel into every hole… slot that doesnt make it fire rocket. Every single one. Use the Hyperion_Invader scope for burst firing if you like it that way. It does over 1 million damage per trigger pull so thats nice too.
Im not going to post ready made parts here, noobs will just copy/paste and then go online insta-killing bosses. Too many of those Twisted Bitch idiots already.
I gots automatic SMG that does 12mil damage per second :p but that’s only with liliths 56% SMG damage MOD
@Trish: Ok cool, at least no one even know if its real or has any clue of how to make it.
@Trish: come to think about it, the craziest guns people having around is the Twisted Bitchs which do half a mil dam in a burst. So what you have there, gun that does 8 mil dam PER SECOND, is some insanely serious stuff no one in the community ever know about. If its hacked/trainer stuff then meh, otherwise I can tell you that someone must have slept with Gearboxs development team.

I figured out how to keep carnage ROF boost while still having it automatic.
Carnage barrel does NOT boost rate of fire, at all… How did you figure out something that doesnt exist? Do you mean carnages damage boost?… Although that still doesnt mean anything.

Lots of people asking here seem to like good legit weapons, rare stuff that can be generated in-game. So Ill post a few of mine, Im having more fun with these than my uber custom guns, that is you have to think before running into an area full of enemies. The editor should only help you skip all the looting IMO.

Your cyclops isnt coming up right for me, it comes up as the DVL590 Fearsome, with really gud stats, but if you can tell how to get cyclops in the name it would be even better. i have tried input the code 3-4 times already, so i doubt that is whats wrong
actually, i just figured it out, you have to put the ‘gd_weap_sniper_rifle.acc.accnone’ accessory instead of just putting ‘none’. Anyways thanks for these weapons. Post more if i got them!!:)
I’m using Val’s weapon mod program (thanks Val!) but I’m having a problem. Whenever I make a weapon it turns out to have like, 7 or 10 damage, which is really shitty. Anyone know how I can increase the damage? I’m using Val’s weapon mod program so if you can walk me how to use that and fix it, I’d appreciate it, thanks!

the barrel for shotgun is to increase damage hugely examples like ‘gd_weap_combat_shotgun.Barrel.barrel3_Carnage’ increases the damage by 5X

Phoenix, thanks a lot, I am at the start of playthrough 2 so my backpack isn’t loaded with good weaponry.
What I have found out so far, if you have already good/expensove items (Pistol SMG Revolver Sniper …) in your inventory chances are relatively low you get a new/better one (loot or weaponboxes). I do get a lot of good combat rifles/rocket launchers/smgs mainly because I don’t carry any of these.
I hate this kind of ai.
Hey thanks for the help Phoenix. I was wondering if you could make some mid-high level weapons that are semi-legit. Like for example, the Hyperion Bitch with like, 500 damage (no multiplier), high fire rate, and ammo regeneration. Whenever I end up making weapons they either turn out to be shitty (no lvl req) or insanely good that they one-shot everything. I don’t want to one shot everything but I don’t want something weak as hell, something in the middle would be nice.
Would you be able to do what you did above (really good legit weapons) for a few SMGs and Combat Rifles? Thanks!

A lil update on the Firebomb and Splat Gun (Eridian weapons)… they do extremely low damage, unless you hit the enemy directly with the Firebomb. I did, however, make a BFG using the Mega Cannon barrel and mixing it with an uber weapon posted earlier.

A couple issues with these weapons… I personally find the Ball Blaster extremely annoying, because it makes this large “circle” that covers your screen when you shoot it. The BFG2 shot seems to disappear after flying through the air for a few seconds, which can prove useful during duels… but very annoying during gameplay. Any good modifications people can think of, because I am totally in love with my BFG2 ^_^ I was thinking of trying out other Eridian barrels on them… and no, the Firebomb and Splat Gun still do almost no damage on these, just like the other ones I mentioned.

OK I know… I’m double posting again (is this allowed?)
I have NO clue why, but I was messing around with my weapons, trying to apply the Mega Cannon barrel to other things, and I stumbled upon the Twisted Stomper again… and I believe this is the same as the BFG2 I made before, only now I’ve changed the Prefix and Suffix to whatever I wanted. I just wanted a name that was cool… AND NOW IT’S BETTER! The shot isn’t incredibly slow anymore! I thought that these parts made no changes to the weapon, but I was entirely wrong… perhaps the names that were chosen before were chosen on purpose to make the Mongel rocket slower? (which is AWESOME for a Mongel… try it while dazed ^_~).
So yeah… I’m gonna mess with Prefixes and Titles a bit more…

OH and btw, watch out for the Ball Blaster barrel on these Twisted Stomper modifications… it seems they have a splash that can kill you as well… the original Ball Blaster could not, so I was not expecting that xD OUCH!
the ‘ZX1200 TERRIBLE CARNAGE’ Patrol SMG does not do any damage at all, can fix it?

You need the extra space before the gd_itemgrades, so I’ve archived this text file to prevent idiots from viewing it on their browser and trying to copy/paste the weapons into the BSE. You NEED to open the text file using notepad and highlight them like this:

You CANNOT copy and paste more then one at a time, but be grateful that I could speed up the process this much.
I’ve tested each and every one of these, and they paste just fine. Highlight them as instructed in the image above.
This includes scoped and unscoped weapons. Scoped weapons with very fast projectiles are bastards, unscoped and more powerful weapons are bitches (+1 projectile +about 10% or so damage). Includes variations of Mercurial Blaster, Ball Blaster, Mega Cannon, Eridian Lightning, Thunder Storm, and the original Twisted Stomper.
Oh and still no luck on Firebomb and Splat Gun barrels… T_T

It seems the Mega Cannon barrel, a some prefixes, and some titles are broken on multiplater. T_T

OMG failed again… it seems the Mega Cannon has like… 0% multiplayer support, but that was only ONE of the issues. Now my Bitch/Bastard cannons are shooting rockets… and I think it is because they have one lil thing wrong… I am about to test that ^_^
this is my sniper rifle it fires x6 (skullmasher) + SandS_Orion_Shock rounds (each bullet spilts into 3 bullets that ricochet)
any suggestions on improving it?

Try the twisted barrel, the elephant gun sight, and the pearl material. Or Jakobs 3.

well, the character’s skills have to remain on the same character, cuz it’s programmed like this. if u try to put the skills on different characters, they will have no effect

Using Semtex’s “portable carpet bomber” (the rocket launcher that spews out 56 rockets in one burst?)
I’ve been trying to add the “mongol” part to it, which I did with some very genocidal results.
However the “dove” barrel is on it, but somehow loses it’s infinite ammo capability, meaning I spend 50 years reloading the launcher.
Can anyone fix this?
place the dove barrel in the ‘Stock’ column, the inf ammo will remain there
Finally say fuck-it and decide to post my Twisted Stomper guns, this is the final one gun to end it all.
All slots are used so it cant get any better from this point, at least until theres a full database of parts and corresponding effects.
Not sure how much damage the rifle does (Dove barrel), could be anywhere from 5-10 mil a burst.
For comparison the 10102×3 one thats floating around online only does 500k.

Umm… the parts are totally not placed correctly, so I am assuming the Dove barrels are placed in the Barrel cells… right? I will see if I can modify these a bit to upgrade my Eridian weapons even more ^_^ thanks so much!

hehe, this happened to me alots of times especially when building a Patrol SMG, for me, my smg stated 2035dmg, but when tested, does none
It was of red rarity???
What i realized was that the sniper stock is what makes it red, but modifying the rest doesn’t make the weapon do damage(if I can manage to make it do damage it turns “pearl” again)…
I’ve made a lot of versions up to now.

Well, i managed to get a “rarer” weapon, it is not a beast with 1k+ damage, but is very powerful.
Its color is white [diamond?](so I’m confused again), I named it “Cobalt Chimera”, I’m too lazy right now to take a photo of the screen proving that is rarer than red, I’ll only post the item cards, both have a 4x “chimera effect”, unlimited ammo and clip size(also ammo regeneration, I don’t have any idea how I got it), even when the item card says it is 48 and in the screen shows 62 or something, one is made with the Hyperion Invader scope(4.7x one), has the ability to shoot 62 bullets fully auto when scoped, other with the Atlas Cyclops scope(5.5x one), also, something strange is that when they are in my backpack are level 48, but when equipped turns to level 36(with no decrease in any stat), it’s my baby so I’ll keep the parts hidden for now.

I’m also intrigued by this… I too am having a couple of problems getting a few guns to do more damage than what they are, anyone have an idea how to give a gun a level when it says the quality is 5 but ingame shows none?
That happens when you selected manufacturers that cant make those weapons.

Thinking about the rarity classification, I think I’ve finally realized how it works, the red in the weapon I posted before is the same as in the med packs, keeping this in mind, the “pearl” color may be the white of the ammo, it obviously is a glitch, but stays coherent to the rest, what do you think?
How do i put 5 points in all my skills as lilith? Plz Help
1. Open your savegame with the save editor (create a backup)
2. go to the skills tab an push all available gd_skills2 to 5
or better
2. go to the first tab and increase the skill points to the amount you need
save the edited file, load your game and spend the available skillpoints, done
just put in 120 skill points to your player and save it, the go in game and add it, it’s simple
I did that for fun and put all my skills to five. Then my game would crash randomly until I reset it to just 45 skill points distributed. Am I doing something wrong?
well, maybe , but when i did that, it worked and no crashes

Confirmed? None of the Twisted Stomper gun types shoot rockets. The setup is already perfect, so just single change to it it’ll shoot rockets.

Use Rick’s original editor, not willowtree or JackQW’s willowtree compatible editor.
tl;dr Youre putting the parts into the wrong slots.
You can replace the mag with anything else, chimera or whatever. I only used that for maximum damage.

lol np… I just assumed the Mag part was.. well… for the mag slot xD Totally spaced out the Acc slot until I got that together myself with some fooling around. I will post my results later, but I perfected that setup using Eridian shots! I got like… 17k x6 on an Eridian Thunder with a Cyclops scope ^_^
Oh btw I still prefer the other Carnage barrels that have no burst when it comes to Eridian weapons and Sniper Rifles. Any suggestions on a scope better then Cyclops? And no, don’t mention that annoying burst fire scope… completely defeats the purpose of the scope in most cases…

When I download the program and try to run it, it comes up with an error message saying: *The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.* I have absolutely no idea of how to fix it, I have tried redownloading and it keeps happening. Any suggestions?

I put leftside6c on and rightside 6 on, but the effects changed. There was no find rare items perk anymore. I tried different combinations with the right and left sides, but no luck. If you manage to figure it out, please post it.
