I keep getting SHA1 error, how do I fix this?

  2. bbd127 says:

Hi Rick, first of all thanks for the great tools you’ve provided us for Borderlands series, much appreciated 🙂

On to the issue: I noticed that when syncing equipment to my character’s level, something else changes too. Namely, the clip size gets reduced when I sync it. I noticed this on Nukem rocket launcher and on a unique shotgun that is dropped by Red & Belly (Striker). Anyone else experienced this?

  3. DarkSparx1 says:

Not really expecting a yes, but I’ll check anyway–Does this work with saves from the Handsome Collection?

  4. JacobiNGames says:

I installed gibbed for pre sequel, and when i try to open the application, i get the loading circle by my mouse, and then nothing happens, i have reinstalled, tried running as administrator, but nothing has been working

  5. NickLaskan says:

Hi Rick. Every time I try to open a file I’ve decrypted with bruteforce save data I keep getting the same error message “Failed to load save: LZO decompression failure (LookbehindOverrun)” any idea how to fix this?

  7. A Usually Happy free customer says:

Hi my game keeps saying that the save is corrupted plus during the modding I get about 4 different error codes all of which are about 387 letters long

  8. Karnage says:

I keep getting this error everytime:

Failed to load save: Cannot load XBOX 360 CON files, extract save using Modio or equivalent.

I used modio horizon and all kinds of different programs to extract the files. Still get same error. I also have made sure 360 save was chosen from the drop down menus.

Any clue how to fix this?

  9. Callum says:

  12. OmniOrange says:

    I’m getting the following error:

Failed to load save: Cannot load XBOX 360 CON files, extract save using Modio or equivalent.

I’m using Horizon which is what I have used in the past with BL and BL2.
Just like I’ve done with the previous games, I’ve made sure that “X360 Save Files” is selected in the drop down menu.

The same problem was posted 5 days ago on July 28, 2015 and the user appeared to have figured it out but a solution was not posted.

    • OmniOrange says:

I also would like to add that upon execution of this version of Gibbed, I was required to install the Microsoft .Net Framework 4

I’m not sure if this is relevant to the problem that I’m having, but if so, there you go.

      • OmniOrange says:

        Okay I figured it out.
Gimme a minute to post the solution.

        • OmniOrange says:

When you extract the .sav from your USB Drive, and save it to your desktop and it’s going to name itself as Sav0001.sav (or similar)

This file (Save0001.sav) will not open in Gibbed no matter what platform you select.

You need to drag Sav0001.sav (or whatever it is named) into the “grey area” of Horizon.
          – Click contents
          – Right click the SaveGame.sav
          – Extract
          – Then upload the SaveGame.sav into Gibbed

          Uploading to Gibbed:
After selecting the file you want to open, you need to choose what platform the save is for.
There is a drop box located at the bottom right corner of the editor right next to the file selected to open.
Depending on your platform, select one of the following from the drop down menu: PC, X360, PS3

After you have made your personal changes to the SaveGame.sav
          – Go back to Horizon.
          – Click Contents
          – Right click the SaveGame.sav and click replace
          – Replace it with the new file you just saved.

Just a hint if your expecting your save file to rename itself after the mod, it won’t (unless you change it manually) until you paste it back into the Flash Drive and play the game.

I get the same thing. I’ve re-installed, re-started Windows 7, and run as admin. I have NET Framework 4.0. Why will it not run??

      • shadekur says:

Atheon, I got it to work after discovering an error I made with the *.rar (zipped) file.

I forgot to extract the Assemblies folder to the r33 folder. Once I did that, the executable opened.

Might want to delete your Gibbed folder and re-extract r33. FWIW, I extracted my r33 folder to Windows Desktop.

    Hi guys,

I’m having a bug that I need help solving. I’m playing through and stuck on Lost Legion Invasion, I broke the locks then saved and quit, and now, even though all objectives are marked as complete, I cannot finish the mission.

I’ve been trying to use your editor to move onto the next mission/restart my current one, but I changed the PlotMissionNumber and ActiveMissionNumber from 1 to 2, but each time I load the game it resets it back to 1.

    Any ideas?

I run the game through steam btw.

you guys should make a tool for moding badass rank tokens

    • Oopsie says:

What you want is a Profile Editor, which does exist.
Your BA points are in your systems profile not the sav file that this tool uses.

  28. killerbeans212 says:

that would be great other then that this is very useful

  29. Lordbane2110 says:

Everytime I try and mod the skill points, and then load up it keeps resetting me back to the default amount, and no matter how hard I try it won’t let me do it

    • Oopsie says:

You need to use the Raw tab.
Scroll down to SkillData, then for example adding 5 points to ‘Crocus_Baroness_Huntress.Skills.LongRangeKiller’ you would put a ‘5’ in ‘Grade’.
Do that for each skill you need, then the game won’t scrub them when it loads.
(If you put 5 points in a skill that uses just 1 the game will scrub the remaining 4.)

  34. Conor says:

im doing this on an asus tablet, got as far as extract all files and it wont open the save editor, screen just flashes and opens my windows file explorer and thats it

If you can extract it on any PC you can drop the files/folders on a flash drive, that is probably the best way.

    how can i fix that?

  40. afis says:

I am having the same problem “reencode mismatch” starting yesterday !0/29/15. Until then I modded my char plenty of times without problem and my athena still plays fine, but I cannot open her with gibbed anymore.
In case it was just a new item, I started a new nisha and had same problem. My old wilhelm save still opens in gibbed (have not played him in a week) so the save editor itself is still working like it used to.

My best guess is that Doc is right about the update breaking it.
    Looking for help.

  41. lCieWarrior says:

Getting the reencode mismatch as well! It’s because of the game update that came out yesterday. Rick, you are the man for making these editors, but the editors need to be updated now. Please do so soon! You are the man! xD

has anyone found out anything new on how to resolve the reencode mismatch error when trying to load the character any help would be much appreciated.

I deleted the latest game patch and can edit my characters again without the reencode mismatch error. Unfortunately, now I can’t play online though. I’m the type of person that is constantly editing my guys and changing weapons, so please update the editor for the new patch, please.

  44. Spike says:

When will be the update Rick?

  45. LewisX says:

Same here: reeendcode mismatch since 29th October 2015. I have one rather long winded, interim, solution while we wait for an update to the save editor (if one is forthcoming). I found it kinda fun. The mission: deliver upgraded care package to your character in need, should you choose to accept it. Software required:

    1. Rick’s Revision 33 (yup, you already got it 🙂 );
    2. http://presequelcodes.imgur.com/ (or your choice of Gibbed codes) .

    – Create a new character with R33 at the level you require. So if your character in need is at level 60 and you want weapons/mods/shields at 60, create a new character at 60 with Rick’s Gib R33.
    – Load up your care package with stuff with the gibbed codes (point 2).
    – Sync all in equipped / bank to the level of your new character
    – Save in the editor
    – Start up the pre-sequel and get the new character to Concordia to load the stash with the upgraded care package ( I used the editor to put some sutff in the bank for the new character as well).
    – your character in need can pick up upgraded equipment from the stash

Your new character is going to be at a level well above the start level so you can use the loot to easily shoot your way to Concordia. I found it more fun for the care package to be above the level of my character in need so they would level up to the weapons/mods/shields delivered by the new character.

Delete the new character and rinse and repeat (sincesaving the ne character will then make it unusable with R33 , after the update).

R33 can still upgrade your characer – even if it is no longer so quick.

  46. LewisX says:

One important point – make sure when you save a new character you do it with a new slot in the save editor or oyu might over-write a current save

  47. LewisX says:

Also, Rick, your software is briiliant. I love it.
