  1. XP says:

The overpower level editing does not work.
It used to asked me what overpower level I want when I want to play, now it’s just straight to playing.

I hope it can be fixed 🙂

    • Giovanni says:

There’s NO Overpower levels on The Pre-Sequel yet.

      • XP says:

really? because previously I can edit the overpower level..and some videos on youtube clearly shows there is overpower level for the Pre-Sequel.

        • Capcapghost says:

I am also slightly confused as well because I have been seeing guides on Se7ensins.com and other Youtube videos showing how OP leveling is possible. If it isn’t possible now, it at least was possible at one time. I am hoping this can be fixed as well, if it is a small bug, so everyone can have access to crazier gear.

  2. andy says:

Is there a way to edit the opening window size and/or font size in windows? Perhaps with the “Gibbed.BorderlandsOz.SaveEdit.exe.config”? I’m using a 4k desktop, and have to enlarge the frame in order to view the entire “Backpack” contents – and the font is a tad small in 4K… Just curious.

  3. robert carter says:

i have all borderlands games on ps3 and now the ps4 i need a complate package to edit both game both please

  4. joe says:

is there a way to increase my BA rank ?

  5. Nick says:

I have the (What appears to be) newest version of this Save editor, but i keep having one problem.
My save editor notes, when i open up a save that has completely finished the claptastic voyage (Or started it, at least 1 weapon), that it misses some weapons, which could be deleted.
    I also can’t make the new legendaries…
Will there be a fixing update?

    • DistoryerOfWorlds says:

have you tried using under the drpodown menu “Marigold Package Def”?

    • Diabolik says:

  6. earl says:

I keep getting this issue maybe u can help me with it
to run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework:
    v4.0.30319
Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET Framework.

    • XP says:

just like what it said…you need to install microsoft .net Framework 4

you can download it from microsoft or filehippo, it’s free

  7. DistroyerOfWorlds says:

    hey,
i was trying to ge the weps that you can only get from the seasonpass of tales from the borderlands but i cant get them, i also have claptastic voyage and cant create some unique weps, including some legendaries and a few glitch weapons

  8. Orlando says:

the save editor launcher wont start up and I even extracted all the files in the zip folder…. the situation is basically I click and launch the installer application, but it does nothing. It doesnt even start up anymore. Is there any way to fix this?

    • Oopsie says:

      Try this:
      1) use File Explorer to locate Gibbed.BorderlandsOz.SaveEdit.exe
      2) Right-click on the file.
      3) Select: Run as Administrator.

If that doesn’t do it try excluding the file from your systems virus protection.

  9. willyxxx says:

will glitched guns be added to gibbed?

  10. willyxxx says:

I am having trouble changing badass rank, when I load a character with increased badass rank, I get a wierd error from borderlands tps that says I cannot gain xp past 70 without a DLC downloading. I have tried syncing the badass rank and that doesn’t seem to work. Any ideas?

    • DOMIN8 says:

That message doesn’t have to do with BA ranks. The error is due to newer systems having a different value for max level than the older systems. You can still play just fine with that error though.

  11. willyxxx says:

    hello, anybody out there?

  12. Starlord says:

Is somebody working on making a save editor that works on a PS4 files, just wondering.

  13. Neonwolf says:

i have a problem with the sha1 hach error what is the hash for the game.conf i have bruteforce save data 4.7

  14. pteppic says:

Is there a linux version of this tool? Since my BL2 and BL-TPS runs on linux i don’t want to move my saves to windows, edit and then move back; i would prefer to do this on the same machine, but linux does not run .Net4-applications.

Any way to get this to run?

    • Wyzmith says:

Try using wine, installing the .net framework with wine (in the settings), and then running this with wine. Wine is super useful on Linux 😀

  15. lolifuhrer says:

    Doesn’t work, SHA1 error /:

  16. imogen says:

the profile editor doesn’t work on win 10 neither compatibility mode neither administrator what can i do.win 10 is my main os very stable thx

  17. this wont let me edit my game saves. ive decripted all my files and still cant use the editor

  18. DozenPond says:

It says failed to load save: reencode mismatch when i try to open up my charter anyone know what to do?

  19. Wyzmith says:

I need help… Whenever I open a PS3 save (unmodified) it says “Failed to open save: invalid SHA1 hash”…. What do I do?

  20. DistroyerOfWorlds says:

will there be support of blasck ( hacked) weapons in l;ater revisions? i likedds how bl2 allowed full on custom hybrid weps

  21. Blastoknight says:

TPS save editor won’t open for me anymore. I have the newest edition. I was running it just fine roughly about 2 weeks ago. But today I went to open it up and It just won’t. I can open BL2 save editor just fine though. So I have no idea what the issue is currently -_- any ideas folks?

  22. AdamS says:

    Greetings!

what lines in black marked upgrades are for your backpack and bank slots?
Because ive wanna incrasese those two, tanks 😉

  23. willyxxx says:

how about creating a presequel profile editor to edit the profile file?

  24. ziggydark says:

So hey someone has either been messing with this download or maybe there is a virus on my computer but this always runs some shady program that stops me from running any .exe files

  25. ziggydark says:

this shit suck and i cant even run it with this fucking virus or some shit sort of malware and i hope you fix it i’m don’t know what i’m going to do with this fucking dumb piece of shit exe

  26. Jackson says:

Are u going to make a gibbed save editor for ps4

    • DOMIN8 says:

The problem isn’t in making an editor for PS4 saves but, rather there being a way of decrypting PS4 saves first. Until someone is able to break the decryption of PS4 saves, you won’t find a way to edit them.

  27. SoldierCrouton says:

Is there any way for this to work for a mac?

  28. Gnoll Goldenhart says:

Will you be releasing a revision that works with the items and weapons from the claptastic voyage soon? i wanted to level my legendaries from that DLC and instead the editor deleted them.

  29. Rom says:

Hey. Quick question. Will there be a way to add Golden Keys, or have the devs found a way to nix that?

    • Gnoll Goldenhart says:

i use a borderlands 2 profile editor that works for both 2 and TPS, however the ability to create my own equipment via gibbeds has, for me at least, rendered golden keys irrelevant.

  30. Howlz says:

Hey, why can’t I play online with friends on my pc with save edited characters? It’ll keep trying to send character data to the host, but I will never join.

  31. Sophia says:

So my issue is that I leveled up my character from level 8 to 11 and now my character won’t gain any experience when I kill enemies and they are at level 10. Help?

    • willyxxx says:

I had the same type problem before where my character would no longer gain xp after using this program, my only solution was to fall back to a previous save

      • Sophia says:

Thanks for this. I wish I had done that but I overwrote my original save file so I guess my character is stuck not leveling up. Ill just have to use gib to change my character’s level as I go through the game. Maybe someone will find a solution to it in the future.

        • Sophia says:

Update: I solved the problem. When you level up your character you need to sync the experience to the level you want your character to be at. Its simple, just take the push of a button[: Once you do that your character will now gain experience.

  32. La says:

I can’t seem to run the application. It does not do anything after i double-click it. When i try troubleshoot program, it says program incompatibility. Please Help!

    • La says:

Oh, and I’ve tried excluding from anti-virus protection and run as administrator and it still does not work.

  33. Rosshaven says:

I know this is a stupid question, but where am I supposed to put the save file after I create it?

    • Oopsie says:

By default that location would be:
My Documents \ My Games \ Borderlands the pre-sequel \ willowgame \ Savedata \ (numerical folder) \ Your sav files

  34. Eldridge says:

Love the editor, been using it since BL2. The problem I have is this.

I used CE to temporarily set backpack size higher to carry more loot, and now it seems to be baked into the save file. My purchased backpack upgrades in Resources within Gibbed shows 2 (corresponding to 18 items). Tried reusing CE to reset in offline mode. No go.

Is there a way to set the backpack size to 18 within Gibbed?
    Thanks for the help.

    • Oopsie says:

You can raw edit the legit upgrade but not higher, it has been cleansed by code, you can however still increased the ammo capacities.

      • Eldridge says:

I saw in the Raw tab, the ‘BlackMarketUpgrades’ which showed, at the time, the correct legit/official purchased backpack upgrades. Didn’t see any other reference to the ‘baked in’ or incorrect backpack size. My solution was to purchase more backpack upgrades, equal to and beyond the ‘baked in’ size, and it now seems to be corrected.
        Thanks for the reply.

    Hey guys,

Was checking in to see what the current status of OP Lvl 8 is? I’ve read several of comments stating it can’t be done anymore. Is this still the case? Would be very helpful to know… and sorry if this question has already been answered.

    Just looking for confirmation!

  39. UnclaimedPants says:

    Hi Rick,

I downloaded your save editor for The Pre-Sequel!, and it refuses to open. I’ve done all the things that people have suggested I do, such as running it as administrator or excluding it from my anti virus scan, and it still refuses to open. Any idea on how to fix this? Are you going to be releasing an update anytime soon that fixes this?

Help would be appreciated; Thanks Rick!

  40. Klaus says:

    Hello guys

Every time when i want to open my save file it says lzo decompression failure, whhát to do now ?

  41. ShavoDeth says:

    Hey! For some reason my Wilhelm save won’t open. Don’t know if i’ve done too many BA challenges or if one of my playthroughs are in an area that cannot be read by the editor but I get this error;

System.IO.EndOfStreamException: Attempted to read past the end of the stream.

    at Gibbed.IO.StreamHelpers.ReadBytes(Stream stream, Int32 length)

    at Gibbed.IO.StreamHelpers.ReadValueU32(Stream stream, Endian endian)

    at Gibbed.BorderlandsOz.SaveEdit.ShellViewModel.c__DisplayClass29.b__1e()

    at Caliburn.Micro.Contrib.Results.DelegateResult.Execute(ActionExecutionContext context)

Ideas? Only happens with this save file.

  42. Kashmir says:

how the hell i can download dis? when i start to download it the web is always loading for the long time.. after waiting it fail… wut i supposed to do?

    • Oopsie says:

Try holding shift as you right-click the file link. or left-click and select from the menu to Save As.
If that doesn’t work try another browser, then lastly uninstall Comcast. 🙂

      • Oopsie says:

Brain fart…Left click and Right click are visa-versa above.
        I’ll be in the corner…

  43. ominas says:

hey every time I download it and try to run it, it doesn’t load up the editor any reason why it would stop it from loading

    Greetz from the Netherlands.

  46. Theós says:

Hello i am using borderlans pre sequel ps3 and i keep getting error invald sha1 hash even after i decrypt with bruteforce please help

  47. Kim says:

Thx you so much for this, I find many places in games so boring, and many just to hard for me, and your Program really helps me to enjoy the game so much more.
I think all of the Gibbed editors are just wonderful. I wish was one for Borderlands 1. I first enjoyed Gibbed in Kotor long ago, and They have always been a true blessing when a game has a Gibbed editor.

    Thank you so very Much.

  48. Duncan says:

I looked everywhere and every single question about the .sav files. This is the first time doing this for Xbox and i have horizon and this, but i cannot find any help with modding my save. I have the usb and save all ready to use but I have absolutely no idea what to do about getting my current file into the save editor, and when i create a new game save in the editor, I can’t move it to horizon. Every other post about this is unanswered.

  49. Devin says:

Why doesnt this open for me, i am clicking on gibbed.borderlandsoz.saveedit.exe.config

  50. Ace says:
