  1. TheGeekyDead says:

Hey! I really love the work you do man, will you be updating (if possible) to [edit] PS4/Saves?
I’m just asking i found a forum on CH talking about editing there saves, but i cant do anything on that site.

    • XxCHOIboixX says:

This would be great since the handsome jack collection came out not too long ago.

    • David says:

Dude what are the chances of you making this work for the ps4?

      • Rick says:

It is not possible to edit PS4 or XB1 saves, they are encrypted and this encryption has not been broken. The only current way to do this would be to import your saves from PS3 or 360.

  2. TheWonderingWarrior says:

Every time I try to load the software up it gives me an error message and it says an exception was thrown (ctrl+c to copy) and it also gives me a bunch of other stuff. Can anyone tell me how to fix this issue. thx

  3. ZombieHDGaming says:

Hey Rick, I love your editors. I’ve been following you for a while using your editors and such, and I’ve never come into a problem with an editor until now. I’m currently using your Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Editor for patch 33 and there seems to be a flaw with it (at least, that’s what I’m experiencing.) Every time I try to load up a save in the editor, that I got off my USB from using the program Horizon, it gives me this http://imgur.com/Fw41XO3 . Even when I used Modio, it gives me the same error…..am I missing a step, or is this an actual thing?

  4. Zach says:

Would it be possible for you to make it so that you can select multiple items/weapons in both the bank and the backpack inventory. I need this particular function because I need to delete a lot of stuff from my bank, and it is very tedious to select them on by one when there is a whole bunch of them.

  5. Schway32 says:

I am having some issues with crating glitch weapons, or any seraph weapons for that matter. if you could include support for that it would be much appreciated.

  6. badass says:

hey rick , I would like to know if there is maybe a packet saying that possible for your editor comes out it would like to use on German ???

  7. randal says:

for those having a problem with overpower. just delete the files in game data folder on the ps3 and sign out. then overwrite the save. should work then. just dont accept the update or login.

  9. YoungTuggy says:

Hello Rick. I was wondering if you included the Tales from the border lands rewards in this update. If not, will you be including them in a future update? Great job with the editor, I use it quite often.

  10. Not-so-nerdy lassie says:

    Wow, this is so cool!

But am I the only one with the problem, that it doesn’t matter what I do with this editor, it doesn’t do anything to the character? When I load the save file in editor, there is everything as I put it – moonstones, guns etc., but all those are missing when I start the game. This is weird. I’ve done everything as I did with the BL 2 editor, but it seems that I’m still too stupid to make this one work. Help? Thanks.

  11. Nick says:

I would love to be able to transfer my saves from Xbox 360 to PS4 since Gearbox excluded those who changed console families.

  12. Andrew says:

Hey, I do not have a ps4 save file. I was wandering I’d there is any way for me to create one with a save editor and just carry it over to the ps4 Without a ps3?

hey rick did you ever respond to my messages ???? in case if you didn’t I was wondering if it was possible to create an editor that opens the param.sfo and opens your profile.bin then when you save it or when closing the app it puts your profile.bin back where it belongs

  16. ryan says:

well mybad it goes through your param.sfo to get your profile.bin but you get the jist of it

not sure what this means, hopefully someone can explain this to me since i have never had a problem with gibbed until now…..

    • Rick says:

The save file you attempted to open is corrupt.

      • noah says:

rick it seams that revision 33 is kinda messed up. my files are messed up and i get a fatal error message from borderlands and it crashes. this has not happened before revision 33 and i see a lot of people with the same error as cesar.

  18. Yuki says:

I keep getting this long error code but now it won’t even open. I’ve tried reinstalling it multiple times but still no luck. Help?

  19. crimsion says:

i keep getting this msg when ever i try to use a code for the claptrap dlc is says warning failed to load code

  20. Brad says:

“Failed to load save: invalid or unsupported version” It happens every time I try to load up a character’s SaveGame.sav and now for some reason it won’t even let me load up a save I created with the program.
Also, when I try to load the profile.bin’s SaveGame.save it pops up “Failed to load save: invalid SHA1 hash.”
I’m running windows 7 and .net 4.5, please HELP me.

  21. willyxxx says:

many of these problems are caused by Norton, first redownload ver 33, extract the files into a version 33 folder , open norton, click settings, click computer at the top, click items to exclude, add the version 33 folder to the list. Do this for both exclusions, scan and auto protect. post here if this works for you.

  22. Will says:

So i’m not sure if its the new update on BL TPS but i can’t do overpowered anymore or i’m doing something wrong which i havnt been for a while. I did overpower 55 which i have been using for a while, i didnt play for a bit then i’m not able to equip my weapons that are OP 55

  23. Will says:

downloaded save editor with high hopes…. but it will not load my save. I used Horizon to extract the SaveGame.sav. Tried to load it and it says “Failed To Load Save: Invalid or Unsupported Version”. Am I doing something wrong??

  24. Richard says:

Hello, I am trying to use the hogg extractor you made for Champions Online to extract hoggs from Star Trek Online. Ive done this before with no issue, but now I’m reaching a file that stops the extraction and gives me the error ‘Illegal characters in path’. What can I do about this?

How do I fix this? thanks

    • noah says:

i dont know how to fix this. but i would try restoring your saves from an earlier date, because your save is corrupt.

  26. PS4 garbage says:

  30. Combat says:

Hi there, I was looking through the skill data for Aurelia, saw she has all Athenas skill names, seems impossible to change it around due to this. Just thought i would say something.

  31. Gnoll Goldenhart says:

anyone else unable to edit claptastic voyage items? and can someone find a fix, or maybe rick may you please come up with an update for it?

  32. Damon D says:

I decrypted my Pre-Sequel save using BSD, but when I try to open it in Gibbed I get an error message: “Failed to load save: invalid SHA1 hash”
From what I have read, this error should only come up if the save is encrypted, so I’m not sure why I would get it since I did the decrypting first.

  33. Zack says:

Please fix the overpower level bug, its says its overpowered but when I get back into the game the level resets

    • Rick says:

Nothing to do with the save editor, if they changed overpower level handling in the game then that’s the game.

  34. CLARK says:

Same thing about the OVERPOWER LEVEL, the game update the path or what? OVERPOWER cannot be change over 8 now

  35. joey says:

    hey,
i was wondering on how to add the dlc packs because i dont want to shell out that much money for them

  36. isaiah says:

rick when i go to open the editor it wont open

  37. Jace says:

i’ve been using the save edit for a while now, and it’s worked fine all the time but for some reason, with this revision i keep getting the SHA1 hash error whenever i try loading the save file. I haven’t been doing anything differently so i don’t know what i’m doing wrong.

  38. Asquads says:

Loving your work Rick! I’m really keen to convert a PS3 save file to an xbox360 save file in order to share team roster updates between the consoles. Are you able to give me any guidance on this? Cheers!

  39. noah says:

is there any other way to increase backpack space rather than setting upgrade to 0 and buying the upgrade?

  40. LordBen says:

I create a new Gaige character and import all data from my prior one. I checked and compared every data with your editor (revision 246), all was right, including all collections details in the raw tab. BUT when I checked the new Gaige in the game I found that all the challenges were not there (for example: sniper rifle (longshot, etc) points were absent, same for other weapons), but some other challenges are there. I re-imported the data to verify… same result and they are well present in the prior character.
How to add or import this data to my new character?

  41. fluffyfish says:

All of the claptastic weps including glitch / legendaries refuse to load they say item will be deleted and show up in a red box when i try to add them. any 1 else have this issue or know how to fix it?

  42. Chris says:

Hey Rick. I edited my XB360 TPS save with one of the previous versions and it worked fine. But I tried to update my save again and then import them to the XBOne through the cloud save and it reset my character to level 30. Any idea what might have caused that? I haven’t done any wierd configurations – just level 70 – and all of the weapons can be found in the wild. You think that there is a patch in TPS that resets you if your level doesn’t match the missions you’ve completed?
