  7. QUICKSORT says:

Hey I earlier asked if it was possible for this program to work on PS vita Save files.
In the meanwhile they managed to decrypt the save files of the vita: http://wololo.net/2014/02/02/release-sed-port-for-pc/
I don’t know if the structure is the same as the ps3, but hey it’s something, right?

    • Rick says:

If you can provide a sample of a decrypted save file from the PSVita version of the game, I can take a look. Otherwise, no.

      • QUICKSORT says:

Okay, Once The game releases on the vita I will take a look into it. Currently no official release date of the game is available only TBA 2014.
Thanks again for your work ^^

  11. EraseAzero says:

So, I have used this before when borderlands 2 was semi-new out. I recently started to play BL2 again because me and a few of my friends play together however there is a slight problem, I do not know if it my save data being corrupted (I don’t think that’s the case because I can load my save file in single player just fine) or a minor tweaking is needed towards my save file but here is the problem.
Basically when I go onto matchmaking and I try to join my friends game, basically what happens is that I get to the menu where I can select “play” but when I click it it loads, freezes and then says “sending character data to host” with the D/C symbol flashing in the corner. It then takes me back to the main menu where it then gives me the error message of “Could not connect to host/Lost connection with host”.
This just does not happen only joining my friends game but just random online matchmaking too. So I don’t want to be a pain or anything, but I don’t know what gearbox has updated/got rid of/crack down on if any of those things for that matter but I would like to know if someone can give me an answer.

    Many Thankums

    EAZ

Gibbed Save Editor runs on my PC perfect and will let me change everything but when i create hybrid weapons (in the bank) they are not there

Need to know more info… like what kind of computer you are on, what operating system it has, and for what system is your copy of Borderlands 2 for

  14. Skits says:

Just wondering if this still works or is in production for a patch to allow to work again on 360.sav files. (Unless I missed something and am doing it wrong[framework and program all functions correctly] since it cannot open saves

    • DOMIN8 says:

It still works perfectly fine. You just need to make sure you are using the SaveGame.sav file that you extract from the container save.

      • Skits says:

Guess I’ll have to check Modio (I’m using it to extract and inject the saves instead of the old rehash/resign method) maybe its an issue within modio corrupting the save when “saved” to desktop.

  15. Mukluck says:

I’m having problems with the editor and every version of the editor that I have downloaded. It opens up ok but when I try opening a save file it gives me a message saying:

“Failed to load save: invalid or unsupported version.”

I never had this problem when the game was a few months old but now I do. I extract the save file the same so I’m wondering what the problem is.

    • DOMIN8 says:

Are you remembering to select Xbox from the drop down menu before clicking Open?

    • TheVicious85 says:

people normally get this issue for one of two issues….either, one… not selecting the drop down arrow to change the save type to open…or, two… not selecting the correct decrypted game save…but the most common is the first one

  16. Archie says:

Hello, I use the Gibbed editor frequently and have noticed some slight problems. Whatever I set my level too, I only get the skill points of being that level, despite how many General Skill Points I select. Specialist skill points (Badass tokens I guess?) Have no effect whatsoever. When I Sync my weapons/equipment with my level, it always sets it to WAY above my actual level, rendering the weapons useless unless I manually set their levels. I am not that tech-savy so I’ve done little to nothing in the Raw Data tab. If you could help me with any of these problems, I would really appreciate it!

  17. i click download and unzip it to my desktop and then i open it and its the previous version!!!!

  18. rob says:

plz help i have looked everywhere, when i click download i get a file not a folder so i have no extract option, thus not getting any futher.

  19. rob says:

i will also add that its saying its a zip file, i have looked at plenty off guides but then i have a icon sending me to windows photo viewer. for viewer to then tell me it does not support this file, i have even tried to find out what program to run it with but no luck, not that i can change it anyway, wtf please help and sorry for double post.

  20. Kevin says:

I’m experiencing crashes for this version of Gibbed. I’m running VirtualBox through my MacBook, emulating Windows 7 (64 bit). I managed to open it the first time I installed it, and since then it will not open. Searching my C drive for “gibbed” pulled up the crash reports. Any suggestions? I’ve tried repairing my .NET 4.0, and I’ve tried reinstalling Gibbed multiple times..

  21. pat says:

sorry for a newb question here. i have the program up and running i am trying to just transfer my ps3 character to pc. i am using the .sav file from ps3. when i try to open is i get failed. sha1 hash. i am using ps3 from the options before even hitting open. ideas? i am using windows 7 also

  22. Spookster18 says:

    How do you download it

  23. Demonstratorz says:

is there any way that you can make an advanced tab on some things like skill data, rgiongamestages, and missiondata so we can be able to edit it in txt mode like json files?

  24. Jeff says:

I go to open the game save in the newest version 227 and it says failed to open file unsupported and shit like that but then i cant select 360 in the drop down box unless i click new first so when i open the file it still fails.

    • DOMIN8 says:

You should be able to click Open from the menu at the top, then select your save and use the drop down menu to switch to 360 and then click Open.
