    Hi,

    I’m trying to use SAM but I am having no success.
    I can see I have successfully started to “play” the game after selecting it on Picker.exe, but I dont get the achivements after clicking their checkboxes.

    Any hints on what i could be doing wrongly?

    Is it possible to do a SAM style program but for the trading cards?

        I’m guessing what he means is that people already use SAM to get the trading cards. As far as Steam is concerned it believes you are playing the game if you launch through SAM so the trading cards will still drop. This is useful because it saves having to install large game files to your HD if you aren’t interested in playing the game at this time but just want to get the cards.

        The thing is though that games that don’t have achievements but do have trading cards don’t show up in the list, though can you manually add them with their ID and launch and you’ll still get the cards.

        Also strictly speaking people just using SAM to get cards don’t really need the achievement stuff.

        However it does work fine as is for getting cards with maybe the only feature that would be useful is a toggle to enable showing games without a achievements on the list, or even if it were possibly grab a list of just games with cards.

        If not, as I said not a huge deal since it does work already for cards, just with some minor hoops jumping for those games that have cards but no achievements.
