    I can’t load my game saves after extracting from Modio. Also after using an old game save and modding it when I try to inject it back in the USB I get an invalid NTFS file error. Some1 please help

          used horizon to extract both a savegame.sav and a save0001.save.. save0001 keeps coming up with a message failed to load file can not open xbox360 CON file extract file using modio or equilivent

            I am having the same problem and still cant edit my Xbox 360 saves. Seems that the save game files aren’t being extracted properly by horizon or modio or the save editor isn’t recognizing them properly. Either way it’s causing a pain for serveral of my xbox 360 friends and I. Hopefully Rick can give us a solution to this problem

            I’ve just used modio and 360rev both to extract a savegame file, tried loading it as a 360 save to the editor, it won’t work has the same error message as everyone else with this problem, any solutions yet?

            When selecting the file, use the dropdown box (bottom right) and select the specific file used.

    hello. thanks for the tool. have been using it for some time now

    however, with this new version, when i loaded my game, it asked me what level i wanted to play on (normal, TVHM, UVHM). i selected UVHM, and it landed me in Southern Shelf. All my quests were gone, and i had just finished DLC4 the other day on UVHM. looks like it is treating my save as a new game! but i can see inside the editor that my ActiveMissionNumber is 630, and on my MissionPlaythroughs collections, i can see collection 3 of MissionPlaythroughData has all of the missions i did as complete. yet when i load the save, the game puts me in Southern Shelf and viewing the quest log shows me with no quests…

    is there any way to fix this via the editor?

      You need to load the same Playthrough you were playing as before.

      For example, if you were playing on True Vault Hunter Mode and that dialog box comes up, you need to select True Vault Hunter Mode. Selecting a higher or lower difficulty will reset all your progress.

        i reckon i did choose the same difficulty because why would play a new dlc on a lower level?
        anyways is there going to be a way to undo that reset which has both benefits and drawbacks

      I had the same problem as Hupokeimenon. I edited some weapon parts, saved the file, and quit out. When I fired up the game, it asked me to pick one of the three difficulty settings. I chose UVHM, because that’s what I had been playing and wanted to keep going, and it sent me back to the very beginning of the playthrough as if I was just starting. I didn’t check the raw data or mission data therein.

          If you are opening it from your desktop, it won’t seem to work. I don’t know why, but rather than opening it from your desktop icon, drag the whole FOLDER, which contains the unzipped contents of the gibbed mod download, onto your desktop. once there, you can double click on the folder and it should open up your windows explorer. double click the CONFIG file: Gibbed.Borderlands2.SaveEdit.exe file. then, right click (or option-click) on the Gibbed.Borderland2.SaveEdit APPLICATION. NOT the CONFIG file. that will not work. select Run AS ADMINISTRATOR. if you’re not an admin, I don’t know if it will work but try just selecting Run, and if that is not available, select Open.

      I had to disable Avast to make it work. Your security setup may be interfering as well.

    guys i don’t know if its coincidence but what i did is open up your original gibbed and see if its 176 if it is then it updated the old one thats how it worked for me hope it helps (:

      this is my first time downloading the mod tool and i download it try to open the tool and my computer thinks and then the mod tool doesnt open

    Version 179 won’t even open on my win8 box. Tried all comparability settings available with no luck. No error, no nothing, just click exe and nothing happens. Reverting to 155 which has been “rock solid” for me and works great. Haven’t tried versions in between.

        tried 176 and same problem as 179. just no error, no open, no nothing. again tried all the compatibility settings and jack squat.
        But again, good ol trusty 155. I’m not using any setting on 155 either, it just runs out the box for me. win8 pro x64

          ive done my win updates like… 3 times in the last 2 weeks. and i just now notice that the #$(@$ing .net ones are always still there, even once i select them. it actually just says “success” immedialty. without actually installing them, and i reboot and they are still there. gona try offline installers, i assume that will fix it, esp so now that i see the dev is on win8 lol

            So oddly enough no, it didnt. but i realized i still had Win7 compatability turned off. so i scrapped that and put all setting back to default.. Still didnt work. I just deleted the folder and re-extracted. and this time, it Worked right off the bat! Awesome-Sauce!!

    Love the editor! Thank you. I had no issues and was able to convert all my level 50 legendaries I farmed for to level 61. This also worked flawlessly with Tiny Tina’s DLC. I am on a PC running Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit if that helps. Cheers!

      Ctrl+C the code, i.e. BL2(hwAAAADCkwGBZgEABdHraWIQxOABMAHDIQYHDBUY/v/HAfw=) is the code for a Dahl Seraphim, then in the Backpack or Bank tab of Gibbed (whichever you prefer) select New Weapon. in the seraphim’s case, since it is a weapon from Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty DLC, you would click the drop-down menu on the immediate right of ‘New Weapon’ and select the first option, ”Pirate’s Booty.” It should then create a blank weapon with the first (auto-filled) field: SET, to: Pirate’s Booty (#1). then simply hit “Paste Code” above the weapon maker and it should auto-create the weapon. Pretty Frickin Awesome if you ask me, – Thanks Rick.

      Here, try it with that code above, it should be a level 61 Incendiary Dahl Seraphim Assault Rifle with a dahl grip, dahl body, Seraphim barrel, dahl sight, dahl stock, and a ‘Damage BanditClamp’ as Accessory #1.

    seems everytime i use the editor, the mission just a borok in a cage, uncompletes itself forcing me to have to play through the mission again, its kind of an annoying bug….hopefully you can get it fixed soon though, the save editor works perfectly otherwise.

      forgot to mention the mission is part of Hammerlocks big game hunt dlc.

        I do not believe this to be a bug with the editor but with the mission itself because if you save and quit then load your character again the mission will be failed and you have to go back to the bounty board and renew the mission. That’s been my experience anyways.

            got a fix for it now actually, what i did to fix the quest was, when i loaded my save and it showed up again as undiscovered, i saved my game, went into the editor, then went to raw>missionplaythroughs then clicked the button which brings up the window with the 3 missionplaythroughdata things, then in the one that coresponded to the playthrough(click the button next to missiondata) i was on i went through till i found the missiondata that had the mission name(in the second part of the window) GD_Sage_SM_BorokCage.M_Sage_BorokCage, and then set the objectives in progess as follows(cuz mine was empty) to 1 1 0 1 (pressing enter after each number was entered to go to the next line.) then set the mission to complete and then closed the window afterwards, and saved my savegame in the editor, then loaded it up again, and that fixed it.

    might just be me unable to find the setting, but how do i unlock the other 2 weapon slots? everything else works flawlessly!

      You can’t Unlock them until you play the missions that allow you to. however, in Gibbed’s, you can assign the weapons you want to be in the third and fourth slot, and they will be there, even if you haven’t unlocked them yet. however, if you are holding one of the third or fourth weapon slot weapons, and you hold X when picking up a weapon (that would normally automatically put the weapon you were using in your backpack and equip the weapon you picked up) it will put the weapon from the ground in your hand, and when you open your menu or save and exit, it will put BOTH weapons in your backpack and that slot will revert to being locked without a weapon in it. so don’t hold X. bad.

    The save editor is awesome! Love using it. But i do have one issue. When I paste codes for the Dragons Keep grenades/spells they appear in the save editor but when i rehash they don’t show up in the game. Everything else I added shows up just not the grenades I added.

    I have the latest .Net update on my computer.
    I have the latest version of Modio and Horizon.
    I’m using the xbox 360 version of Borderlands 2.
    I have all of the updates/patches for Borderlands 2.
    I have all DLCs except the skin related ones.

    When I extract SaveGame.sav with either Modio or Horizon and then try to open it in the Gibbed editor I get the error: “Failed to load save: invalid or unsupported version.”

    I have tried this with old saves and they won’t open.
    I made 3 new characters and those won’t open in Gibbed either.
    I downloaded a few saves from Modio and those also give me the same error.
    I even tried several versions of the Gibbed editor: 179, 158, 155, 153, 152, 151, 146. None of these worked.

    Any suggestions would be wonderful. Thank you for reading this.

    When I first used R158 a fourth playthrough titled ?int?WillowMenu.Playthrough.PLAYTHROUGH_NAME_4?Mode appeared. Is there any way for me to remove this from my playthrough list?

    I am using windows 8, I have used an older version before but with the new version whenever I open the editor, the folder I put it in will fade a litle bit as any folder does when a new app opens… but after that the app does not open :/

    I am new to using this and was wondering, is there a way to make a new class without overwriting an original. For instance, I have completed UVHM with Krieg and Salvador, is there a way I could make Zero or Axton using one of their completed saves ( without using the same save file ) I made an Axton (using Salvador’s save and changing class) last night and he was shared in the save (if I played with him then quit and loaded Original Salvador he looked like Axton until I got in game and vice versa). They would both be saved under SAVE0001 because I couldn’t get a new save to not corrupt.

    If not, is the only way to have a character through UVHM ( Main Only ) by completed Normal Mode and then editing?

      The only way to edit your golden keys that I know of is to use the GPD editor because the golden keys are stored in the GPD data in your profile not in the character save. You can download it from 360Haven.com but there isn’t a tutorial for it on the site so you may need to look for one.

    I have completed UVHM story line, but don’t want to repeat all vanilla sidequests and all DLC quests (missions and sidequests). Is there a way to edit my save to make them look completed in my log?

      try editing, in the Raw tab of Gibbed, the values for PlaythroughsCompleted and LastPlaythroughNumber. PlaythroughsCompleted should be 3, first one for normal, second for tvhm, third for uvhm. last playthrough number should also be 3. I don’t know if that will show that all sidequests were completed, but if not, look for the OneOffLevelChallengeCompletion, try opening the collection and adding a ton of OneOffLevelChallengeData fields. like over 150. within each one, change the value of the collection ‘Completion’ to… let’s say 134217728. that might work. and the game will almost for sure automatically fix the value when you load it to be the maximum of the ‘OneOffLevelChallengeData’ fields you had put in there.

      I’m not 100% sure on this, so if you’re going to try it, make sure you take careful notes of exactly what was in the fields before. Messing with Raw can be dangerous.

    The Fav trash equip checkers are a bit wierid as they cant be selected upwards only downwards

        Think the person is referring to the Mark for Standard, Favorite, or Trash for items in the Backpack tab…

        While I don’t have a problem with it but putting a space between the “Right” choice for Quick Slot and the “Standard” choice for mark… if you can

        That is my guess of what Austin was experiencing…

      Did you make sure to select the Ultimate Upgrade Pack when you built them? If not then that may be your problem, but if you did build them correctly and there were no red boxes then I don’t know what the problem is.

    Hello first time commenter long time user of product. i only had about one concern for the program. i don’t mind doing it manually I just thought of hot-keys or multiple selections for guns. I have a list i usually import into my games and some times i just like deleting the guns I don’t really want. just something to save some time. you can call me an douche for that that, and i know how much work goes into doing what you do. so no biggie just a thought.

    just a thought, but for the next update, mabye add a way to edit maximum bank/backpack slots? dont really get why they patched the infinite bank glitch (didnt really hurt anyone, right?) and i know a lot of people, me included, relied on that glitch to keep all our cool shit. that patch = sadness ๐Ÿ™
    still, just a suggestion. would be awesome if you could add it though.

      in the Raw tab of Gibbed, you Can actually do that. MaxBankSlots is obviously the maximum number of bank slots. just put that number up pretty high and the game will put it back down to the maximum. Also, if you go into the collection ‘BlackMarketUpgrades’ and change all the values to 7, that gives you all the maximum upgrades from that eridium black market place in sanctuary. its pretty dang cool.

    I have a suggestion to make on this that’ll help a lot: a delete multiple command (Be able to select multiple items and delete them). I really need that because I have a lot of items and it takes forever to delete them one by one.
