    My editor downloads download incredibly fast, the problem is my comp refuses to allow me to run the editor. Super frustrated… advice?

    Hi again!

    I tried to get it working with three of my PS3 BL2 savegame files.

    But I always get the error “Failed to load save: invalid SHA1 hash”. Even I decoded the savegames with (PFD) with “Bruteforce Save Data for PS3”.

    I finished ‘safe and sound’ missin and I went to talk with marcus instead of moxxi, it seems I cant go back and collect the reward from moxxi. Can I undo the talk to marcus to collect the reward from moxxi?

      Back up your save first and try this:

      – Raw tab > find MissionPlaythroughs, click (Collection)
      – Select the proper MissionPlaythroughData (first is Normal mode, second is TVHM)
      – To the right find MissionData, click (Collection)
      – Select the MissionData for GD_Z2_SafeAndSound.M_SafeAndSound (it’s probably near the end of the list)

      – On ObjectivesProgress, click (Collection), change the last two numbers in the list to 0 and 1, it should look like this:
      1
      25
      1
      1
      3
      0
      1

      – Change Status to ReadyToTurnIn
      – OK, OK, and save

      Load up your game and you should be able to turn in to Moxxi. If that doesn’t work, you can just delete the MissionData entry for GD_Z2_SafeAndSound.M_SafeAndSound (select and click the red X), then redo the mission from the start.

          Yes. click on Unknown47’s arrow in Raw, click on “Add”. and put the contents to whatever!

            Thanks, but it doesn’t work on 1.3.1. When I add a GoldenKey it has to fields, Unknown1 and Unknown2. I tried setting both to 0, 1, and different numbers, but when I go to the chest it shows I don’t have any golden key.

    I am unable to change the general skill points for an Axton character. I change it, save it, then load it back up and it is back to 9. Is that a bug? tried in both the RAW and tab 1.

    I have the same problem as JJ.
    Although in my case it says : “invalid or unsupported version”
    I have no idea why. maybe because it is on the xbox.
    I tried it with an older Savegame but still the same problem.

    I have gotten the same message “invalid or unsupported version”.
    I extracted the savegame.sav from the save file.

    Everything works fine with the editor but it wont let me change the amount of skill points i have. Ive tried changing it on the main part and raw even at the same time and it does not work still. Any suggestions?

    Dont know if this has been posted yet about skill points.
    1. Click RAW tab.
    2. Scroll down to Skill Data and click in the box and it will bring up antother window that has Skill data
    3. Go through each one and move the grade points to 5. When you load your game it will all be maxed. It worked on my 360 save.

    JJ, when you try to open your file the box next to the file name is a drop down that says either PC, XBos or PS3. You need to select which one or you are going to get that error.

      It is not highlighted when I open the program, all I can do is witch between tabs and load up my save or make a new save.

    i am having the problem were when i try to open the gamesave it comes up with unsuported data version. i have the update and i played on the character but it still says its un available. i can u pls tell me what to do

      when you try to open your file the box next to the file name is a drop down that says either PC, XBox or PS3. You need to select which one or you are going to get that error.

    Got a question regarding editing game saves. I have my Mechromancer at level 50, but I wanted to try out a level 50 Siren. So, I created a level 1 Siren, got the Chapter 1, and then copied that save and my Mech save to a flash drive. I extracted the Mech save and updated all of the fields to reflect that of a Siren (PlayerClass, SkillData, etc…) and changed the SaveSlot to 4 (the save slot of the level 1 I created) in both fields.

    When I inject the newly modified save to the level 1 Siren slot, and then update the save name and resign/rehash, everything goes perfectly fine. However, when I load up the game and select a character with the Y button, both my Siren and Mechromancer have a check mark next to their names. When I select a totally different character, only that character has a check mark, but when I go back to either the Mech or Siren, they both receive the check mark and only the most recently loaded (in game) character is displayed for both (i.e. if I last played as Gaige, I see her for both characters on the main screen).

      I too have the same issue with seeing the most recently loaded (in game) character displayed for both, though I set the SaveSlot to it’s own slot (original was 7 and the new one is 9) initially. I dont have the issue with the check mark however and aside from the graphical issue it seems to work fine.

      Id still love to know where else it’s saving the game file to though or if it’s hunting your C: drive (PC in my case) for the save file, as I went so far as to remove Save 7 from the directory, and upon launching it still found my character and was ready to load in. It did this until I renamed the .sav to .sav.old. Now that It’s set to .sav.old the game doesnt seem to recognize the file at all (as expected) and I no longer see Save 7 in game.

    Thanks for the tools, the skill points are much easier to just flat out modify with cheat engine though on PC. Just reset them, search for the byte value, spend one, search for decreased value by 1 again and usually there you go. Good tools though.

    Can’t open any of my extracted 360 saves. My editor and my saves are all up-to-date but getting the unsupported version error. Anyone have any idea why its doing this or what I can do to work around it?

    i am try to mod my Xbox saves (something i have done lots with this program) but i am getting “failed to load save: invalid SHA1 hash” every time. i use modio to extract the save, i make sure when opening the save to select Xbox in the file type. any ideas

      I’m using Horizon and get the “Failed to load save: Invalid or unsupported version” error. This is also not my first rodeo. I’m guessing, as below, that it has everything to do with the dlc update/new compatibility pack.

    It seems the new compatibility pack/update is rendering the character saves unopenable. I have 4 characters and one of them had their skill points reset back to 46. The others were unaffected/remain deified. Cause unkown. When I tried to edit the reverted character, I got the same message as Naddox. That’s as of yesterday. I can only assume it has everything to do with the update/compat pack fiasco and whatever changes came with it. Now I’m just curious if you intend to update again and if there is an eta.

      Clarification – Xbox 360 version, reset character was Axton/commando. Extracted files using horizon 2.5.10.0

    Just a quick heads up, the editor recognizes the new dlc 3 weapon parameters as valid and accepts them in the balance, materiel, title etc (the sage Maliwan Infection for example) but the name in the inventory bar to the left just remains the default name i.e. Pistol, just thought you might like to know incase you weren’t aware.

    Love the editor, keep up the good work 😀

        Huh, must’ve been a problem my end. For some reason they’re all working now.
        Strange because I didn’t construct them, they were all bought from the in-game vendor.
        Wouldn’t surprise me if the game hadn’t saved properly, wouldn’t be the first time! xD

    I’m part way through the Doc Mercy mission, and I want to reset it so that I can have the higher legendary drop rate while the mission is active. How would I do this?

        I think that mission is GD_Z3_MedicalMystery.M_MedicalMystery. Try setting all the numbers in ObjectivesProgress to 0 and set Status to Active. You may also need to delete the MissionData for GD_Z3_MedicalMystery2.M_MedicalMystery2 if it exists. If that doesn’t work, you can always just delete the while MissionData entry, then you should be be able to pick up the mission again from Zed.

    1. Bank the weapon.
    2. Go and do whatever with it in-game.
    3. [IMPORTANT] Put it back into the bank when you quit.

    Tried changing lvl to 100 and syncing everything in backpack, but in game lvl still shows as 50 even though all weapons and items are 100 so everything gets unequipped. Any suggestions?

      Gearbox nerfed the levels in an earlier update last year. They hard set the max to 50. They also will not let you alter your skill points beyond your level. To take advantage of excessive skill points you will need to edit your skill tree manually in the RAW tab. Even then, there is a chance they will be reset when switching between True Vault Hunter Mode and Normal mode for the first time at least. I have had to reset my skill tree two or three times since that patch.

    But got a Problem with creating Heads for my mechromancer, i can’t get it to save – the savereditor falls back to the head i had in my backpack, everytime. Why is that? Is there a sulution? btw i’m on PS3.

      even if i create a new item (mechromancer head), after selecting a other item – it falls back to none.

        got it working with a mechromancer skin, make a head out of it and it works.

        That will be the case with all DLC items. The problem is the Set ID number. That needs to be according to the patch number. i.e. 0= Main Game, 1= Scarlett’s Booty, 2= Mechromancer, etc. Unless the Set ID field is made editable, you will need to start by duplicating an item from the appropriate DLC to make an item from scratch.

    In regards to the new “Costume Pack” DLC, I see the new heads in the drop-down box of the General info tab, but I can’t locate the items in the lists when attempting to put them into Backpack or Bank. Anyone locate them, or am I just missing something?

    For the next update would it be possible to enable us to copy/paste multiple items in the bank and backpack. It would save me a lot of time when transferring different things from one save to another. Would also be helpful to be able to extract the weapon codes and info to like notepad for easy uploading.     I am loving this editor, and I can not thank you enough for your work. Though I have run into a problem. Shortly after I started modding my characters started loosing relics when I load my character. It doesn’t matter if its a relic I made, or one the game gave me when I load my character there gone… Any idea’s how to fix this problem, or am I screwed?

    I am having issues with making a gun from the DLC’s. I have all of them through the Season Pass on xBox. I have made all the weapons, but the only ones that will not work are the DLC weapons. Lets say I want to make a Cobra Sniper rifle. I put GD_Weap_SniperRifles.A_Weapons.WeaponType_Jakobs_Sniper in the first pull down. then in the second I put GD_Iris_Weapons.SniperRifles.Sniper_Jakobs_3_Cobra. The box is highlighted red and all the rest of the drop downs give me None. is there any way to fix this? I have the character saved in Beatdown so I know that it should recognize that this Character is in the DLC. Thanks

      i had the same problem with mechromancer heads.
      The solution is:
      u need a random weapon from the dlc u wanna mod, then mod the weapon u wanna with these itmem! take a look few comment over this – i ask with the mechromancer heads – the answer should helpp u too!

    Well, I used the manual skill add in RAW back in 1.42 and it worked perfectly – tried using 1.46 (since patch and new DLC came out) and while currency works great, game autocorrects for skills. Even when I change stats from a modded 25th level character (swithcing the class from Mechromancer to Zero, to start over with skill points) it reset what used to be 62 skill points to 21… Does anyone know if it might be the new DLC that renders the skill points moot?
    Maybe I’m just missing something (on PC), but like I said I had the last version pretty figured out. That having been said, are there any detailed instructions? While a lot of the editor is intuitive, most of it I have kinda learned from reading through posts like this…

    If I create a new weapon of type:
    GD_Weap_Pistol.A_Weapons.WeaponType_Torgue_Pistol

    And the Balance:
    GD_Orchid_RaidWeapons.Pistol.Devastator.Orchid_Seraph_Devastator_Balance

    The border of the field becomes red, like when there is an error.

    PS: Same thing for GD_Iris_Weapons.Pistols.Pistol_Torgue_3_PocketRocket

    well i change the fast travel spot in my xbox saving slot and all the fast travel spot in 3 dlc are suddenly missing
    the rest of the spots on basic game are still fine.
    i can’t access to the DLC even if i have already complete one of the DLC
    FYI,latest TU 4 are installed and everything seems pretty normal
    now i can’t play the other 2 DLC part which i have tried many time to modify the travel spot in the ediotr
    PLZ HELP ASAP THX

    having an issue, i have a USB with my save on it from xbox… open it Via “Modio” go over to file content, right click to extract save, save it to folder then try and open it with the gibbed edditor Revission 146 says “Failed to Load Save: invaled or Unsupported version” What am i doing wrong now?

    Also tried making a new on and injection it into my saved games, no go either Help!

      Wow I feel stupid!
      Okay so when you lick open you choose the folder… Right?
      So click on your save where then name is “File Name: in the on the bottom…. to the right there is a drop down menu will say “PC Save Files(*,sav)” hit the drop down menu and click “X360 Save Files (*.sav)”

    Is there any way to finish a particular challenge such as Blue Sparks….where you have to Power Slide over a large amount of enemies??? Something In the Raw area I could edit….. I love doing most of the challenges but this particular one and a few of the others are just….tedious and irritating.

    The editor loads perfectly but whben i try to put my savegame in it from either the pacages of Savegame.dat or Save0103.sav just wont work
