    • HenchmenGaming says:

I have the same problem… i download the file, extract the .exe from the 7zip file, delete the 7zip file, then try to run the .exe. it says it updates in the “archive” then nothing. Can anyone provide a solution?

      • Oopsie says:

…What operating System are you using? If it’s Windows check your systems permissions and any virus app you are running.

  2. aaron says:

when i download it i go to open it and it doesnt open

    • Damien says:

You have to extract the file above the .exe file first. Than it’ll open another file and just click on the file with Jack’s face on it. Than Gib’s save editor will pop.

  3. looneytooney says:

Rick, this aint working, apparently there is nothing in the file, it just says windows cant open the file and that its not valid

  4. looneytooney says:

Would be great if you could fix it asap

  5. jayke says:

When i open it, it comes up as an error, fix would be amazing

  6. leeroy says:

Yo bro, this isnt working 🙁

  7. monstersrt1424 says:

I really need this like right now, fix would be great

  8. Smart Person says:

You guys have to extract the file using 7zip or WinRAR before you can use it… that’s what I did and it’s working perfectly fine.

  9. monstersrt1424 says:

    it works!

  10. Dana says:

So, I DO have ALL of the required software, and have used Bruteforce to decrypt my save. Upon decrypting the save, I open Gibb, and attempt to open the save for editing. I do have the file type set to PS3, but it gives me the error: Invalid SHA1 HASH. Am I missing something? I have tried multiple saves with the same outcome, and have followed Youtube tutorials to make sure I have the process right. I would REALLY appreciate help at this point!!

  11. hyhy says:

General skill points do not working in game…

  12. OldSchool says:

When I load guns they just disappear all together and I can’t scroll though my weapons.

  13. NovaX says:

Hi. I got DLC pack Claptastic voyage and wanted to get GLITCH weapons. When i add them the Balance bar is with the red outline and i cant manage my gun. Am i missing something or this will be fixed ?

  14. Kenny says:

Guyz, you need to click on the downloaded file and open with WinRAR.
Create a folder on desktop & open folder.
Move Windows to the right and move everything from RAR to the folder.
Then run the exe! The type should be Application not CONFIG.

  15. Phopus says:

Hey, I synced some weapons to take on the Invincible Sentinel, but when I arrived, the ramps (which come down during the final mission) were reset. I was able to grenade-jump up to the top level anyway, but one of the ramps is actually IN the area where you have to click in order to enter the boss fight. So it’s blocked. Does anyone know how to remedy this?

I had this problem as well. I suggest updating your program, and making sure that you are using the appropriate one (for a while I was accidently trying to use the presequel version for borderlands 2).

Note: the recent January end update to TPS could’ve changed a lot of things. Hopefully we get an updated version.

      • Rick says:

Unless you’re talking about consoles, there hasn’t been any update to TPS since last year.

  22. skorpi says:

Hello i have a Problem with the Save Editor, it always says: Failed to load Save: invalid or unsupported Version
i’ve heared that somthing happens with anew horizon Version extracting the xbox 360 save from the USB Stick
and that a new Version of your Pre-Aequel save Editor should fix this
so i’m asking, whenn can i expect a new Version of it, because i really like your tool and hope to use it again

  23. Isai says:

I used gibbed yesterday and now it won’t work. There is no update that I’m aware of. I decrypt the file and then open it in gibbed. It won’t open. It gives me the SH1 error. Not sure why it’s not working. I just used it yesterday.

    • Isai says:

Never mind. Just figured out the problem. I was opening the wrong file. I have two separate files just in case. I was opening the backup. Not the one in the USB

  24. dominic says:

  26. Vash10010 says:

Extracted gibbed file (kept both), uploaded my character through PS3 resigner 1.4 (worked with everything BL2), Decrypted and went into gibbed, opened my character decrypt file with PS3 .SAV, and ive got the error code SHA1.

  27. jay217 says:

Idk what these guys up here ^ are doing but i haven’t had a single problem at all with anything. thanks for making this program free, too, man. i know at least I really appreciate not having to pay just to have a little fun with a game

Hi… I found you from trying to find a fix for watch dogs mouse acceleration and aim assist…. I have windows 10 and the game is from steam. I have tried to change settings from the GamerProfile.XML but those settings didint do anything. can it be possible for you to go to the games files and force it to not have mouse acceleration and aim assist by compleatly deleting these features or just disabling them?

  33. jeff says:

Will this ever come out for xbox 1 or ps4?

  34. upcaman says:

I have the Release 39 and BL3 gave save I used Horizon to extract the .sav file. I can open the sav file and edit it but when I try to inject it back into theoriginal game save I get an error.

    Invalid STFS Package!

    C:\”path to Savegame.sav”

Is the problem with Horizon or is there a problem with possible values I set in the Gibbed Editor??? This is the first time I have used Gibbed to MOD my game saves.

  35. YoSoyNegra says:

    So… I have met the requirements… editted (?) my save, and put it back onto my 360… Everything is fne, no corruptions, nothing. I load up TPS, and the save hasn’t been changed at all, there is a backup save. If it’s because of the backup, something else, or if I’m just stupid, please help. ;-;

  36. jacob ainsley says:

i keep getting the error “reencode missmatch” what do i do (trying to open xbox360 save)

  37. UncleArtyom says:

For some reason, i can’t get one of my save Oo. I played the game (cracked) before, and bought it recently, i tried to locate my new Axton but can’t reach it, can’t find it anywhere. try to edit another save i had, not working either :/

Any ideas? Thx for infos ^^

    • Jmababa says:

  38. Josh says:

SO…what are the codes for the LevelChallengeUnlocks in the raw data tab? I just need a few more completed challenges to prestige.

Here is my list, it’s nowhere near complete… http://pastebin.com/ruBjypqg

  39. Lux0013 says:

i’m getting the sha1 error.i use horizon what i do?

  40. Matt says:

Running into the SHA1 error when I try to open up my TPS file. Decrypted with bruteforce and the file type in gibbed is set to PS3. I’m able to open up all of my BL2 files just fine, but the error comes up every time I go to open up my TPS file. It’s not a hufe concern for me at the present since I’m doing a fresh playthrough, but when the time comes I would like to be able to open and edit my save.

    • Matt says:

*Update* I don’t think gibbed is at fault here. Console received an update that may be causing some interference. I say this because I tried to save over a dummy file with a level 70 save file (ran full decryption and everything, slots lined up proper too). The program let me save over no problem, but when I tried to launch that file in TPS it was flagged as corrupted data.

      • Matt says:

*Update 2* Even after removing the hotfix/patch/update data, I’m still not able to open up and edit a save in gibbed.

  41. F.a.SP says:

Can verify as of 3/16 any attempt at editing save files regardless of how you extract the file will corrupt it. No amount of resigning, rehashing or hex editing will make it work for XBOX 360 versions. Only version I have so I cannot verify others. It appears the new compatibility pack may have locked us out.

    Time to farm!

    • Jmababa says:

January 2016 patch locked out gib for console I can say that cause I corrupted my cousins save file for ps 4 lucky we have backup

  42. Valis says:

Has anyone heard anything about weather this still works for PS3? And do i still need Bruteforce to open files?

  43. DURDAHURD says:

Can we get an update that includes the version for android?
Borderlands TPS was released last month for the Nvidia Shield android tv, and seems it is not compatible with the saves in pc, xbox, or ps3 format ( though when choosing to open it via ps3 option, it says an error about the version or incompatible, other pc / xbox wont pass lzo decompression )

  44. Pearly says:

I am reading a lot of back and forth about this SHA1 error? Is it the console and patches, or something else?

  45. Oopsie says:

    Hey Rick…(Whispering) Battleborn?

  46. RisinDevil says:

How come I can’t select a title and prefix when making weapons??? or change the prefix on already made weapons?

    • Scott says:

The prefix is added in by the game based on the accessory. For example, I gave myself a Pimpernel with the damage accessory, which is:

      GD_Weap_SniperRifles.Accessory.Sniper_Accessory_Mount3_Damage

You don’t write the name or prefix when making weapons. The game will generate them automatically. When I gave my Pimpernel that attachment, I did not give it a title or prefix, the game automatically gave it this prefix:

      GD_Weap_SniperRifles.Name.Prefix_Maliwan.Prefix_Mount3_Damage

Let’s say you wanted to change the accessory to the fire rate accessory, which is:

      GD_Weap_SniperRifles.Accessory.Sniper_Accessory_Mount2_FireRate

If you don’t manually change the prefix, the game will never change it. Even though it has the Fire Rate accessory and should have the “Banbury” prefix, it will retain the prefix given to it by the damage accessory, which is “Barking”. In order for the prefix to change, simply re-write it to match the accessory:

      • Scott says:

        GD_Weap_SniperRifles.Name.Prefix_Maliwan.Prefix_Mount2_FireRate

(i dont know why my reply got cut off)

  47. Scott says:

I’m trying to reset my mission progress on the “Doctor’s Orders” mission. I can find the mission catalog but can’t figure out how to reset the progress. Anybody know how?

  48. iripa says:

first of all, THANKS, i´ve had a great time with your borderlands 2 program.
i´m now trying with the pre sequel, but i can make it work.
i´m on xbox 360, and when i load the save after ussing gibbed, none of the changes, new weapons, money, etc, remain.
nothing seem to save. but when i re open the game save in gibbed, it shows everything i made before, but not in the xbox, inventory remains the same, and all other things.
what can be the issue here? is something i´m doing wrong?
thanks in advance for any reply
