pcgamer: I use it and it works just fine. It does not modify any of your gamefiles, only your steamcloud. Altough you should not have any VAC secure games when you use it.
Thank you, but I want to know some details. I don’t think it will modify Steamcloud because SAM even works while offline and actually unlocking achievements has nothing to do with Steamcloud.
I googled it yesterday and found something about SAM, one website says that SAM uses some specific interface from Steam codes. This interface gives people access to achievements and stats. I’m not good at programming but does this mean Valve can do nothing about SAM since this all comes from the basic framework of Steam?
