reencode issue here too, think I will stop playing until this is resolved, hope is can and will be.

great program, but after yesterday’s update for “Borderlands 2”, I’m completely unable to open my character saves. because elike everyone else, I’m also getting this dumb “reencode mismatch” error. please fix this!!!!

Please update this save editor. Without mods I believe that borderlands 2 might have faded into obscurity a while ago. Mods add a new way to play this game, and your mod tool lets people from all across the world create new things from godly shields to mega weapons. and people can modify existing weapons into something new and creative. Please do not give up on this save editor!
give him chance, it isn’t like he sits at his computer waiting for updatas to come out and then change his editor, he has a life.
There is no borderlands mods
I am getting this error too, earlier savegames load well.

It must be because of yesterday’s patch, the save might be altered
When will an update for the editor come out? There was an update yesterday that changed the save files and we’re getting “reencode mismatch” errors.

So xbox just updated between 10/27/2015 and 10/30/2015. they changed the coding of game saves. it now says ReenCode error. in other words they changed the game ID coding for the BL2 saves. Looks like you need to make a new editor to accommodate this update. My saves are fine on my Xbox but cannot edit anymore. Well I thought I was the only one having this issue with the game saves not working with the new patch but it now looks like tons of people are having the same problem. Would like a new updated version if its possible, if not then it looks like my borderlands 2 days are over lol.
I’m sure the update is what broke it since it’s happened before. I’m sure Rick will patch it just as soon as he is able. I am literally going to take my change to the machine at Publix and donate that to him via Patreon. Like so many others, his game editors has really made both Borderlands and Mass Effect a real joy to play. I always play through without Gibbed the first time, but then use it to make life a little simpler playing as other characters.

Apart from the reencode error problem, it seems that my edited save won’t let me get into holy spirits pub. Tried using unmodified save, the pub is working. When using modified save, the game just crashed.
