It won’t let me open my game save on it can someone help
can someone help me It wont let me open my game save on to the gibbs editor
Make sure you select your console save from the drop down list.

When I try to open a character or create a new character I get the following error box that pops up:

I’ve deleted and redownloaded the latest version of the editor (Feb 2015, or something like that), updated .net, even uninstalled and reinstalled bl2. I’m double and triple checking to make sure I’m using the PC filter. Any ideas?

Has there been an update? I’ve used this before without issues, but today all my saves are coming up corrupt. Using v248 of gibbed and latest Horizon. Everything goes smoothly as normal, but once I load my game on Xbox my save is corrupted. Yes, I’ve resigned/hashed. Thoughts?

Import functions worked fine the first time I used them, but ever since then I have not been able to use it on any character. I’ve tried reinstalling, restarting, running as admin… what else should I try

Does anyone know how to edit the save to where I have the story + DLC +all side missions beaten? The weapon and shield making part was easy to figure on my own but when I start the game i’m way at the beginning at claptrap with no storage slots, ammo, backpack upgrades, etc.

Hi just wondering why the heck you left this behind. Here is an idea that you can use for a combo tool for the borderlands series.
1. Keep program the same, as in one tool for the series
2. just make the databases like this (one for borderlands 1, borderlands 1 dlc, Borderlands2, Borderlands2 dlc, The prequel, the prequel’s dlc
3. And allow the app to recognize the different con save files of the game series
4.Finally just fix the major problems that people are having as long as they send a error report to you. (also on the programs web page say what items you aren’t going to add or fix.
I can’t even download it, not sure if it’s a pc problem or if I’m just an idiot. It keeps saying that the file for the download isn’t found. I’m on windows 8.

i am getting a read write error i tried to execute the program and got a read write error and i tried to fun as administrator and it didn’t execute
the error im getting is saying
windows cannot access the specified device path or file you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item
Opens fine am able to look threw option but crashes as soon as i hit open to choose my save.

Rick, your like a fucking idol to me ….. the best program on my computer. After a Borderlands 2 update on the 360 I now get a reencode(?) error when trying to load a save into gibbed. I know the process for getting it to load again but I was just wondering whether there would be another save editor revision to fix this? thanks
Hi Rick after the new update came out a Reencode error appears when trying to open saves, will there be a patch to fix this?

Hello, seems Gearbox released an update to Borderlands 2 today (Oct 29, 2015) and now the save files won’t open in your wonderful program.

Hello. I think the update on October 29th 2015 did something to the Borderlands 2 save files, so they’re no longer editable by Gibbed. However, I would also like to point out that I play on the Mac OS X version (which before this update didn’t matter as the saves were basically PC saves). Has anyone playing on Windows encountered this issue? If so, would an update or fix be possible?
I have been using Borderlands 2 editor R248 and it was working just fine until today. But now it gives “Failed to open save: reencode mismatch” error. what should I to get rid off it? help please. thanks in advance

a new Patch comes out Today for Borderlands 2 and your Save Editor cant read the new Savefiles, Error message: “Failed to load save: reencode mismatch”

Hey mate! The files are messed up now. Does this have anything to do with the Borderlands 2 Save Editor, or is the Brute Force program? Either way, we’re all getting the re-encode message :(. A fix would be much much much appreciated!
