How do I edit the badass rank?
Delete your game profile save then in gibs under the raw tab there is a challenge prestige. Put it to 99(the more characters you do this 4 the more token you will get) . Now that you hAve that, start BLTPS with no profile data n one will b created, load character n start game, all the tokens n badass point you would have earned thru each 99 prestiges will b added to you rank. If you want more then save n quit then load another character you altered.

No, you need to download “Ellipse” it allows you to mod your bad ass rank including golden keys.

This is what i do:
1. Copy/transfer gamerprofile and gameprofile
2. Open gameprofile in Horizon
3. Extract savegame.sav
4. Open savegame.sav in Gibbed´s save editor

Well what you could do in that situation, if all you’re doing is getting weapons or it doesn’t really matter to you that all you have is a mod character, just make a new character and have everything the way that you want on it in the save file, save that file and over wright the character through herizon and there you go

When using gibs BLTPS save editor you will need to have bruteForce 4.7 or later installed. After that run bruteForce n right click the BLTPS save, then open game.config (somewhere in the middle of the right click options). The scroll to the bottom n add this to the list, be sure to have an extra enter before adding.

Windows protects program files. Save it somewhere else then copy it over in windows explorer. You will need administrative rights and have system files and folders visible.
I added that code to the config file but now Gib gives me an error when I try loading my decrypted files. It says “Failed to load save; reencode mismatch”.

this is the disc hash key for decrypting the save. unless you dont have the windows redistribution package installed on windows then idk where your problem lays for the decryption part
I got my first reencode mismatch error last night, all i did to fix that was reload character in game, waited for the save at start up to end then saved n quit the loaded that save with editor & it worked just fine.

Not all the items are recognized on the editor yet. I get this msg at times when loading save in the editor n ites will b removed, to keep from losing the gear you want keep a back up of the original save n then drop the items lost to another character then give back to the character you want in game

Hi, for PS3 Users, download Bruteforce save data 4.7. Load your save, right click on your file, click on Bruteforce and then Decrypt your files. Now you can Load it on Gibbed. When it’s done, go to Bruteforce, Refresh and encrypt files.
Bruteforce doesn’t decrypt the Pre Sequel files only the B2 files.
Bruteforce 4.7 worked fine for me.

I wanted to add weapon slots, so i added weapon slot sdu’s to my inventory (doesnt work -> they vanished) and after that to the bank (same effect). Since they are no longer a consumable item (like in BL2) i wonder how i could add them?
I didnt want to play through half of the game just to get them, becaus i want to play with a friend tvhm. But playing with just 2 weapons is horrible.

For some the heads/skins aren’t added to either the bank or inventory. The guns for me, have added accordingly.
Try doing the skins n heads offline n make sure all the available options for the selections are chosen or else they will disapear. N for the extra weapon decks just play the game, it’s not as long as bl2. If you have the character edited to lvl 50 then you can just run thru the missions without killing much anyway, what’s the point in buying the game brand new if your not going to play it how it was intended too

Check if you synched up your exp with your level. I had the same problem when using cheat engine’s level mod….didn’t work, had to remake my toon. However with Gibbed, I never had a problem, just make sure to synch the exp.

Cheat engine can help you with that. TPS runs pretty much on the same code as BL2, so many of the cheat engines work for it.

OK I got it so I’ll walk anybody through it step by step
1.) In horizon, drag your save (Nisha – Level 46 – Hyperion Hub of Heroism) to the gray area in the middle
2.) Go to the contents tab
3.) Right click on SaveGame.sav
4.) Extract (I just extracted it to downloads cuz its easy to get to)
5.) In Gibbed, click open
6.) Change it from pc saves to Xbox 360 saves
7.) Select SaveGame.sav and open
8.) Change what you want to
9.) When you’re finished, at the top of gibbed click save
10.) Back in Horizon, replace the SaveGame.sav with the modified one
22.) Save, Rehash, and Resign

Im running on Windows 8 and it just will not open on my computer, it keeps saying windows is protecting it from running. But even if I click run anyways it still will not open even when I have all the extras downloaded from using this application for BL2
Turn off windows firewall, and or make it part of the programs you allow.

Stuck on “pass through the breach” portion of the main quest, “The Beginning of the End” in playthrough 2. As I understand it, this is a common bug. Is there a way to skip this quest, or set the active quest to be the one after this?
i have this same problem and have not been able to find a fix. For whatever reason when i set the plot mission back to #10 it always goes back to #11 which is the breach buggd mission. Have u had any luck getting a fix for that?

start a new character, open new character in the editor. decrypt the corrupt save then import skills/mission/world/stats over from the corrupt save to the new save. change lvl to 34, sync xp. ad weapons manually, its not that hard

Add a couple Weapon Equip SDU’s into your Bank using the editor then, when you load into the game, pull them out and they should unlock.

1- Load the game in the editor

4- Balance and manufacturer, choose the only option from the pulldown.
5- I made the manufacturer grade 2, coz I didn’t know what else to do.
6- Save and load the game
7- go to the bank and get these two SDU’s

Just try out an old cheat engine table for BL2. TPS runs pretty much on the same code as BL2, so you can use tables for gold keys, skills, super speed, etc.
You can never bypass your legit number of skill points using that. The game has a sanity check which will reset your skill points according to your current level. You can exceed your skill point limit by going to the ‘Raw’ tab, finding ‘SkillData’ and clicking on ‘Collection’. Just be on the lookout for skills which must never be edited. For example, Nisha probably has a ‘skill’ for her ‘Order’ mechanic, just like Krieg had ‘skills’ for his bloodlust detector and on-fire status detector.

Used your tool to create new weapons\items, it’s worked fine. Now, i completed story and all side-quests (including raid boss), and want to scale up my items to my level. Program can open this save, but can’t save it properly anymore. Game says it corrupted, your tool gives me error: “Failed to load save: LZO decomression failure (InputOverrun)”. Even if i didn’t changed anything. Just open save file, save it right away and boom, it’s corrupted now. At least i made a backup…

So i just umlocked Vault hunter mode gibbed my lvl 29 to 50 but in the start of Vault hunter mode the mobs are still lvl 30. Am i forgetting to do something after i sync my exp to lvl 50, shouldnt the mob be lvl up with me now in VH mode ?
No you fucking idiot, you still have to beat the game. The enemies scale up as you level in the game. When you synch up, all you’re doing is changing your code, not the enemies’, So the code is still locked till you beat the game, during which they will scale when you start a new game.
i said i beat the game at lvl 29 started vault hunter mode. Thats when i lvled my character to 50 once i started vault hunter mode.
you still haven’t changed the code for the mobs, as you progress through the second playthrough, regardless what level YOU are, they will level up in increments

Get rick I noticed that all the skins put on thru the editor has the same effect. Even when adding a white item you still get the cyborg skin on every weapon you add even if the weapon noelrmally doesn’t have that skin

Hi, so my game has the “science and violence” level bug where i can’t get past the last scientist as he never opens the door to get his keycard. Is there any way i can use this tool to reset the level or go back a bit in the main mission? I’d really like to not have to start over just to do the one mission. Any help would be super appreciated!

Apparently, Rick stopped working on it after WillowTree came out. Which was back in 2009, when the initial game released. So, if you have all 4 DLCs, then that editor will mot likely not work for your saves.
I downloaded Gibbed for the Pre-Sequel, and when I tried loading up the save file I extracted using Horizon, it said it wasn’t compatible with it. Also, your Read Me text file said that I needed .NET 4 to use it, but when I downloaded that, it told me that my computer had “an equivalent or higher” version. So basically, what do?
Probably you didnt picked up the “Xbox360 Save files” option before opening the savefile.
If you are on ps3 or pc same thing,you gotta pick up the version of files related to your savegame when you try to open up a savefile in gibbed
My comment is more of a how to/how do I… How do I scale my enemies/bosses down? I’m not sure what I did but now all the bosses I encounter are 51 & 52, even those that should be 47. what do I do?
UPDATE/additional information: initially I was level 43 or 44 I changed my level to 49 [when I was trying to change it to 46] and there didn’t seem to be any issues, until a group of friends and went after Iwajira who was 52 instead of 50, but I didn’t think anything of it at the time.Lately I have come to notice that all the levels have scaled up to 51 or 52, is there anything at all I can do? I tried lowering my level to see if it made any difference and it was just a wasted effort…
Actually all the bosses gets to level 52 just like in the others borderlands.In borderlands 2 terramorphous was lv 52 when you fight it,if you are playng in true hunter mode thats just natural,my friend tryed to go fight Iwajira and it was lv 52 for him as wll and he is playng withouth any mod so yeah,i guess its just how it is supposed to be.
The scale up to lvl 52 for some enemies and bosses are just way the game works. The bosses are meant to be fought with other players when they get that high. It will basically be impossible to do it solo but some have managed to do it with the right gear without modding.
I am well aware and I do understand your points [which for the most part are valid] What I am saying is I did something wrong and I would like assistance correcting it… Iwajira was a poor / incorrect example to use. The correct example to use is [RK5] raum-kamfjet mark v, I’ve seen several youtube videos where this boss was level 47 in TVHM, in my case it’s level 52 and the mobs that come out to support it make soloing impossible and I would rather not enlist the aid of friends & strangers unless absolutely necessary and in this case it’s not because I did something foolish to add 5 levels to RK5 and I would like to return it to a manageable level…
UPDATE: I just finished helping a friend finish TVHM and you know what? RK5 was level 47 for him… WTF did I do wrong? More importantly, is it possible to correct?

Ok so I’ve done this before with Bl2 and no issues. I retrieve my save from my Ps3 I have the latest form of Brute force. It decrypts the file. I can open it up in gibbed and mess around with it. Where it goes wrong is when I put it back on the usb it will not show up in game. Just the original damn file. None of the changes are saving. Help! Please
